It's intuitively obvious that training right is better than training more. At the same time, we are all different, and no one plan can fit everyone. But who of us non-pros has the resources to develop his/her own specific training plan? Gale Bernhardt has put together the best solution. She explains the theory, and then provides complete plans for each race/athlete profile. All you have to do is follow it. In two seasons using Gale's plans, I have reduced my training time by 40%, and gone from not making a ranking to achieving top 50 at a national level in my age group.
