That is really the book you have near your desk if you are a thinker involved in transmedia.
It's Jenkins who reframed the transmedia concept into its present acception.
It's comparatively heavy (351 pages, small font), but goes very deep into the matter.
From a French cartesian reader, the structure of the book is too much "story telling" and not enough "science" or "practice". The chapters titles are more teasing than descriptive.
And, in a so rapidly changing domain, it is now a little old (2006). But the more recent books (Bernardo's Producers Guide or Phillips Creator's guide) do not offer this level of theoretical exploration.
Then; I think it will remain near my hand in my bookshelf for a long time.
