Sorry to say it but this was a most disappointing read after the first two books. Ender's Game was a classic and the follow up was not bad, but this third effort really is poor. The story drags on and on though endless psycho analysis of a psychotic family - in fact a whole book full of psychotic characters, who endlessly fester and froth in their selfishness and idiotic tantrums. And finally, after wading through all this waffle, the reader is cheated of a real ending - I suppose it's to sell the next book. Well I wont be buying it.
Éven Ender becomes a weak sop, with only a bit part to play at the end, when he accidently brings his brother Peter back for a second life - the only time things start to get interesting, but then he leaves and the story ends! Very little action. Very poor. Not recommended!
