Haven't finished the book yet, and struggling to do so. I am sure Chris is a nice guy, when taken out from the sport environment. But I definitely hate the sports man character. An ego bigger than himself, a tendency to deny everyone who thinks differently from him, an approach often indicating that he is more clever than the rest of the crowd. I know you have often to have a very strong personality to succeed in sport, but to me having a strong mental doesn't have to mean that you have to be an arse.
There are still one 2 two advices to take away from this book, but the guy writes like he's full of anger, he's the super genius of sport. I thought triathlon was sort of preserved from this mentality, Chris is the guy who shows that it is not. Once finished, I'll sell this book immediately, as I will never read it again.
