This is a great resource.

As a math teacher I love what this book communicates in words. I haven't seen anything quite like it. A struggling student's best option would be to seek help from a teacher or tutor, but this would be a great place to go if that weren't an option.

I may be borrowing from some of this book's ideas for my own classroom. I like to have more options to explain topics. Each new way of explaining something has the potential to catch more students who would otherwise be lost

Some students understand from seeing the textbook explanation. For those who want something different I hope they give this book a chance.

I strong recommend this book as a review for those how have already finished high school, and I also recommend this book as guide for quick check alternative concept explanations during study.

I am still reading "ALGEBRA in WORDS: A Guide of Hints, Strategies and Simple Explanations" and I will say here, I actually stated this title in a question, when I first studied Algebra and for that matter Calculus. If you struggle with the basics, any study will confound you. Mr. Bullock take the basics and delivers them in sentences and thoughts that the reader can understand so easily that I am relearning all my basics and hoping the renewed offering of knowledge of Algebra will help me in the future.

I had greater expectations but it's not bad—maybe I just knew the concepts in this book well enough already. And it's a lot, or it felt, shorter than I thought it was going to be.

A most useful book for students, parents, and teachers. It is a common sense approach to understanding algebra. It explains the "why" in everyday English. This is the first(math book)I have ever seen of this type.
