Présentation de l'éditeur

All music in the ebook is recorded on “TheGuitarNick” YouTube channel with a direct link to video lesson for all exercises.

Accurate tablature with zoom in & zoom out on Tablets.

Over 400 progressive lessons and 30 fingerpicking songs in tablature.

Through the study of this method you will quickly master the fingerpicking technique. It is not a simple exposition of tedious exercises but rather a course of interest and learning. It will guide you through a step by step process that will allow the execution of complete songs of average technical difficulty.

Is not important that you have a high level of ability at the start. The book is designed so that even absolute beginners can learn from using it. Every aspect of the technique is explained in detail and all the fingerings and techniques used are clearly indicated.

The book is divided into three levels of increasing difficulty:

• The first level is for absolute beginners and in it are numerous combinations of fingerings for the right hand.

• The second level introduces new incremental technical difficulties and the first simple complete songs.

• In the third level some intermediate guitar techniques are explained with some songs using these techniques.

The method is completely written in tablature to be readily accessible to all students, many of whom can not read music. The use of tablature will allow everyone to play the music and do the exercises very quickly.

Not only beginners but also intermediate level guitarists can find, especially in the second and third levels, exercises and songs useful to refine the technique of alternating bass.

Once you have completed the book you will have acquired the basic technical skills needed to approach the study of advanced level songs.

As a person who has been playing straight forward chords for a while now, I found this book an eye opener. I can recommend this book to anyone who is serious about learning to fingerpick. The author literally takes you from "zero" to intermmediate. Included are some good techniques like slurs, hammer-ons and pulls-offs. You have to do your part though and practice the execrcises. I give this book a four because the English translation is not too good, but completely understandable. If you want to learn how to play songs on a guitar with a good baseline included, get this book.

Nick's English is a little rough, but his examples are great, they're plentiful, and he plays every one on YouTube. There are nearly 400 lessons, ranging from simple patterns to complete songs.

1.0 étoiles sur 5 Support Nick, but not the on line version. 18 septembre 2014

I enjoy Nick's YouTube postings and his website. I wanted to show a little support and bought the Kindle version of his book. It is all but unwatchable, the video examples are just links to YouTube, not much use if your not on line, and the tabs were awful. I may buy his paper book but I would warn people away from the E edition.

Most of the fingerpicking instruction books I have tried are simply too difficult. This is the one method which proceeds gradually enough so that I can make progress without giving up. He begins with simple open chords. He uses the thumb and index and middle fingers because they fit in with folk, blues, and popular guitar playing unlike classical guitar playing which also uses the ring finger. The lessons are progressive in organization. The author has a website called (...) with many free lessons and tabs related to the guitar. Some of the songs are easy and some are more challenging.

I ordered the Kindle version of this book and it was downloaded right away. The lessons and exercises are easy to follow for a beginner and the you tube lessons are a spot on match. I've ordered other books and cd combo's and the cd's never seem the match what the book is asking you to play. With these lesson, whenever you're instructed to go to you tube you'll find a demo that matches the tunes that you've been practicing. The writing is a bit off but not to the point that you would have problems following the lesson. I've only covered the first section of the book but I feel for the first time that this will be a book that I will be able to complete and move to the next level of guitar playing.
