So far this monitor has been working great. I built a powerful gaming rig last year, and bought a 4K monitor with it. That monitor was great too, but certain games get microstutters and screen tearing trying to run at 4K. I bought this monitor to resolve that, and it worked like a charm, barely notice the difference in resolution, but the difference in smooth gameplay with no screen tearing is very noticeable. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't have 1080 Ti's in SLI or something.

I feel like the aggressive stand is unnecessary - specifically the part where you can place your headphones on. It's more convenient to just place my headphones on my desk. Also, text seems a lot more blurry on this monitor compared to my other monitors.

Otherwise good. 144hz 1080p is pristine if you have the hardware to run it.

Oh, and don't change the overdrive settings off of normal.

I just picked this up for Christmas. I absolutely adore it because this is my first G-Sync monitor. There are issues however, the issue is that if the game gets under 30 frames per second it will start to flicker. Its not that frustrating for me because I play League of Legends and lighter titles. If you play a graphically demanding title without a good graphics card (GTX 1070 & above) be prepared for a flickering light show.

If you're OK with playing games on high settings @ 1080p it shouldn't be a problem for you

There's lots of features on this monitor really gives you that sense of value. 1920 x 1080 is solid but it would be better if it had a higher resolution. The speakers are decent and work well if you don't have dedicated speakers.

I paid about 599 with tax is about 680. This would be a best buy if the price was 530.

Still I am very happy with my purchase!

TL;DR: Good monitor for lower settings, buy if price is under $600 CAD - flickers sometime if gpu isn't good enough.

Rather disappointed with this purchase. I was satisfied with this display until actually trying out gsync in several games like Witcher 3, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Escape From Tarkov. The display flickers very often when the frame rate drops bellow 60 FPS. This makes using gsync rather pointless. I'll be returning it as soon as possible.

I don’t even know where to start.

First: I had to return this item 3 times. I only wanted the model without that stupid Tobii Eye Tracking nonsense. Amazon shipped 3 of the Tobii models even after I explained I didn’t want the Tobii model. Product model SNs are pretty similar but they are indeed different. I wanted the Z271 BMIPHZ as listed on the Acer Predator Z1 lineup, but I kept receiving the Z271T BMIPHZX.

So after the 3rd one, I thought maybe, just maybe they are just in the wrong box. So I opened it, only to find out it has been opened before. All the cords were just randomly in there and there was no plastic packaging over the DisplayPort and HDMI cords as well as the PowerSupply, whatever. I looked inside, sure enough it had the Tobii Tracking Bar.

So I can’t really give an actual usage review and performance review. All I know is, if you pay $500+ dollars for a specific model monitor, you should get the exact thing you pay for, just by watching YouTube videos of the Tobii System I was already beyond annoyed, don’t settle for something you don’t want.

Unfortunately, this transaction has sent me into monitor purgatory, I don’t know what I want now, all I know is, it won’t be a Predator model, or anything Acer. I can’t deal with that level of unorganized crap.
