Présentation de l'éditeur

Christopher Goodman, cloned from cells of Jesus Christ, ushers in a state of utopia on earth--but at what cost? After nearly six millennia of stagnation, humanity stands at the brink of its last evolutionary step. But it is a step that has come at a tremendous cost. --Ce texte fait référence à une édition épuisée ou non disponible de ce titre.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Best of the trilogy 7 avril 2013

Specifically for the Kindle edition: This book, thankfully, lacks all the problems that the second book contained concerning the end-notes and the text. So if the second installment made you a little bit crazy having to switch back and forth manually, you will be relieved to download this one and have it function correctly.

As I said about the first two installments in the series... This is definitely a book that makes you think, "What the f___ did I just read?" Some of the events that occur in the story are a bit bizarre and leave you trying to figure out what exactly is going on. However, I felt like this book was more detailed and the author did a better job of describing the events and the reasons behind them. Readers also finally get to see the REAL Christopher and what he is secretly doing behind locked doors.

I also absolutely *loved* the epilogue. At the end of the Left Behind series, I felt like everything was so contrived and unrealistic. The last installment -- of 12 books -- is my least favorite and felt like a total let-down after sticking with the characters through the entire series. In Acts of God, however, the characters ask questions, feel real emotions other than "yay it's a happy ending," and have real conversations. I thoroughly appreciate the effort the author took to make it relate-able to a "regular" person.

Additionally, I appreciate the over 300 end-notes in the back of the book in which the author explains why he chose certain events to take place, different interpretations of Biblical text, and the like. I recommend this trilogy to anyone who enjoys a good, freaky end-of-times story.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 I never get bored with author's style of writing 6 décembre 2015

I have read this series books 4 or 5 times. I never get bored with author's style of writing! First book can be little long, but just wait till you get to the end of the book and till all three books! I never understand how Revelation and science could work together till this book! It can be all science-fiction, but it like real to me! I did brought other 2 books for my friends.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. From start to finish it has been compelling and well thought out. The synchronisation of the whole implies the author carefully considered the story in depth before writing it down.

In the end - what a joy and call to faith. Go from here to read Randy Alcorn's "Heaven".

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Slyness Ends--But Not The Powerhouse Story 18 août 2001

Well, you knew the sleight-of-hand, the literary legerdemain, couldn't continue forever. The author kept us pretty much in suspense for more than two books. But it all comes to a screaching halt in book three. Finally, all the chips are on the table. Everything's out in the open. The cat's out of the bag.
What we get instead of red herrings and blind alleys is powerful, straightforward storytelling of the first water. What we also get is a quite harrowing--yet entirely plausible--picture of the last days of Planet Earth as we know it. We also get some more Really Scarry speaches from you-know-who. When the mask is finally peeled away, we get a picture of a creature more nightmarish than Weston, the Unman from Perelandra--someone who makes Freddy Krueger look like St. Francis.
But we get something even better--a picture of redemption that is truly moving.
Did BeauSeigneur deliver the goods here in book three? You bet, and in spades. This is it. The real thing. You'll be sorry if you miss it.
Well, this is my last communique from the front. I'm going to miss sending out these dispatches. Hope they were helpful.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 It's like when your young and then you grow up 7 novembre 2014

I found this book to be quite riveting. It's a trilogy of deception, evil and loyalty. I could not put it down. I read the set of Left Behind series and found this to be more provoking. It's like when your young and then you grow up.
