5.0 étoiles sur 5 Mega pack with mega info about Scrum. 26 août 2015
Par John C. David - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Format Kindle Achat vérifié
Scrum is a framework used to deliver and complete complex projects. This package covered pretty much everything you would need to know about Scrum especially if you are not familiar with it. Each book discussed different topics about this structure designed for projects. The books explained:
-What is Scrum.
-What is it all about.
-Checklist used for Scrum.
-The insides and outs of Scrum.
-How can you master its method.
-How to use it effectively on meeting project deadlines
This package also included a book about Kanban, which is a method for managing product creation and is designed for the same purpose as Scrum. This mega pack got informative books about utilizing and mastering Scrum. I would recommend it to professionals and team leaders or team members of project creation group.

This is a great buy. The book is actually several books in one. The amount of information contained in this book is tremendous. It will take the reader through the Agile Scrum process from beginning to end and add the author's experience as a Scrum Master. I cannot think of a better book to give you the information you need to practice Scrum.
4.0 étoiles sur 5 Huge information 12 septembre 2015

Goodness! There is a vast of useful information in this book. This book just made a very good argument on why Agile scrum is the best work flow instead of the waterfall especially for software engineers or teams. There is a lot of confusion in the term agile and scrum and this book just break it on my mind defining each term in a simple way. The scrum pattern consisted of 3 main cycle, 3 main roles of which the biggest responsibility lies with the scrum master. Leadership, teamwork and increase in productive is what this book is mostly all about. Honestly it took me 3 days to read it all, and from time to time I need to go back and ensure understanding. The only thing I found negative on this book is the transition of chapter by chapter and the "common marketing strategy" found at every end of the set. Nonetheless I understand it.

4.0 étoiles sur 5 The first one is The Power of Scrum and gives a very good high level overview of Scrum 26 août 2014
Par Ronald Bower - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Format Kindle Achat vérifié
I was given a free copy of this book.

This book is actually a collection of books. The first one is The Power of Scrum and gives a very good high level overview of Scrum. The other sections of the book go into more details on scrum and are directed towards helping you with practical types of problems (eg, one book is a checklist, another is tips). If you're not familiar with Scrum, the first book will help you with the terminology. If you're familiar with Scrum, the other books can help you fix some of the problems areas you may be having in your development cycles.
