    I usually opt for "branded" products but after seeing a few good reviews of Amazon Basics products I thought I would try this mouse. I have not been disappointed. I bought it to replace a very old Dell mouse that was starting to falter after a great many years.

    This new one is a great size and weight and a good long cable to reach around the back of my desk, to the tower PC below. Very responsive on my plain wooden desktop without needing a mouse mat.

    The quiet button operation is a tiny bit 'soft' for my preference - I prefer a clear "click" - but it does what it says - a quieter operation while still being responsive.. I'm sure I will get used to that difference.

    Under £10 for a good quality mouse - I am very happy.
