was eager to meet a real American woman. Before I knew it, we were hanging out together and -- wouldn't you know it -- one thing led to another...
(This 5000-word story contains exciting scenes of a sexual nature, and two people in an intimate international exchange. It's true that they look at some animals in a zoo -- but, frankly, they're acting like animals too!)
I was at the Scripps Aviary, trying to get a good shot of an emerald starling -- awkwardly bending over and backing up -- when I bumped into him: literally! The
waterfall just beyond the walkway was so loud that I hadn’t even heard him. Apparently he, too, was trying to get a good shot of something in the other
direction, so that we hadn't seen – or heard -- each other.
"Miss! Miss! Are you okay?" I looked up from where I had tumbled, and the first thing I saw were those bright teeth. He looked worried as he extended his hand to help me up.
"Uh -- yes, yes. I think so," I mumbled as I got to my feet. Everything felt all right: I hadn't even dropped the camera -- the strap was still around my wrist. He looked relieved.
"I am so sorry for bumping into you, Miss," he said. "It would be a tragedy indeed to come all the way to America, only to injure such a beautiful young lady." Huh?
I looked at him again, more closely this time. That unusual way of talking he had, the close-cropped hair -- was he a foreigner? But *handsome*...
"Oh, think nothing of it." I smiled. "I'm all right. Not even a bruise."
