This cookbook is laid out nicely and has beautiful photographs. However, I don't know how useful the recipes will be. It has obviously been written by someone who does not speak English as their native language. The translations leave a lot to be desired.

Some of the recipes have ingredients listed that never get mentioned in the instructions - such as "flour to knead the dough" in the Sausage with Pastry recipe - it calls for frozen puff pastry and never tells you to knead the dough or what to do with the flour that was listed in the ingredients.

Here are a few more examples of things that just don't make sense or are very confusing;

"Place the breadcrumbs on a plate and pass the mozzarella after passed by the egg."

"Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place in a bowl, reserving them for filling the clear."

"With a spoon or sleeve fill the clear"

"In a baking tray put parchment paper and with a sleeve or a spoon make balls and put them on paper."

"It depends on each oven when became with a golden color remove and serve."

The "Chicken Breast and Vegetable Crepes" recipe doesn't have any chicken in it - in fact it calls for sliced Turkey.

The "Chard Bites" don't have any chard in them - instead they call for spinach.

I think you get the idea. I'm sure I could figure out what the authors were trying to say in most cases. I do a lot of cooking and could manage, but I don't think this cookbook would be very useful for someone who really needs a recipe to tell them how to cook something.

With some work it could be a nice little cookbook. As is, I can't recommend it. 2 1/2 stars.

As I started looking through the book, I noticed a lot of mistakes. For example, "Salmon with Arugula and Cherry Tomatoes" mentions NO salmon but rather mussels. Not a single mention of any lettuce type or quantity or arugula but it tells you to wash both!! One recipe calls for "kanicama" which turns out to be imitation crab after I looked it up on the Internet. They could have used a better term for it if they want to sell in American markets. There are spelling errors (rice is "rise",mozzarella is "muzzarella", yogurt is "yogurth", etc., etc., etc., throughout the book. If they are not good English speakers, why didn't their editor proof the book?

This book has a vast range of easy to more difficult. Some great for entertaining while others should be left for family when there are many hands. Layout of recipes ( not all on 1 pg) was a little difficult to work with. Some instructions very precise, while others a little lacking ( I still got the picture). 1 recipe is miss labeled as chicken but uses turkey. Overall has refreshed my appetizer standbys.

Ok, got this ebook today. Opened it up and right away it was much more than I was expecting. The pictures make it over the TOP...While I haven't made any of these yet....I am forced to take an early lunch now and satisfy my craving after looking at the many recipes and PICTURES in this ebook. This sets the bar for an appetizer cookbook.
