J'ai acheté un Mac mini M1 il y'a environs 2 mois, que j'utilisais jusqu'à présent avec une bête sourie Bluetooth. Et bien franchement y a pas à dire, l'expérience Mac est incomparable avec le trackpad d'Apple. Il est très grand, de très bonne qualité, le dessous est en aluminium avec des coussinets qui adhérent au bureau, le dessus est en verre blanc opaque /givré/légèrement abrasé et très agréable au toucher. J'avais autrefois un MacBook Air et ça fait du bien de retrouver tous les gestes multitouch du trackpad. L'affichage de mission control, l'affichage du launchpad, le balayage entre les fenêtre, le scrolling sur une page (n'oubliez pas que vous pouvez régler le sens du scrolling dans system preferences !). Et le clic ! Le fameux clic simulé par force-touch avec le retour optique (dont l'intensité est réglable également !). Vraiment, j'ai conscience d'être certainement un Apple fan boy, mais je pense que le prix de leurs produits (de ce produit en tout cas) et au moins justifié à 90%. En somme, un Mac sans trackpad n'est pas un Mac.

Je l'ai reçu en blanc et non argent mais c'est très bien. Il se marie très bien avec le clavier Magic Keyboard.

Il a toutes les fonctionnalités du trackpad Apple. C'est un produit authentique et non une réplique à bas prix.
La détection est instantanée en Bluetooth par le Mac.

Associé au Magic Keyboard, il faut avoir aussi le support qui permet de joindre les deux et d'avoir une prise en main sur les deux en un seul objet.

Pratique quand on est devant sa télé sur son canapé.

La solution globale est plus chère que les claviers 2 en un pour Windows mais c'est du Apple et ça fonctionne et puis c'est tout !

J'ai commencé par utiliser le trackpad de mon MacBook Pro 2016 et j'ai été conquis par sa precision et la richesse des fonctionnalités.
En achetant le magic trackpad, j'espérais retrouver ces sensations et je n'ai pas été déçu : on a la même précision, la même richesse en terme de fonctionnalités (swipe à 1,2 ou 3 doigts qui declenchent des actions différentes), tout cela dans un objet sobre et beau. Typique d'Apple.
Je n'utilise plus de souris depuis que j'ai le trackpad. A recommander.

Un trackpad très agréable à utiliser et qui rappelle le confort du trackpad du macbook associé. Parfait pour travailler avec une meilleure posture que courbé sur l'ordinateur. Seul reproche qu'on pourrait lui faire, la batterie dure relativement peu longtemps (quelques semaines ou un petit mois), mais je n'ai pas de référence pour comparer.

Ich besitze das iPad 2018 9,7 Zoll und hatte als einziges „Accessoir“ den Apple Pencil und habe damit meinen Unialltag auch immer sehr gut bewältigen können. Man muss dazu vielleich sagen, dass ich es sehr liebe mit meinem Pencil auf dem iPad meine Mitschriften zu verwalten und zu schreiben, jedoch hat man schnell dieses Gefühl, dass man nicht zu 100% effizient arbeiten kann.
Zumindest war es bei mir so, bis jetzt!
Dank dem Update auf iPadOS 13.4. wurde die Kompatibilität zu dem Magic Trackpad 2 und dem iPad so extrem gut verbessert, sodass die Produktivität tatsächlich steigt.

Nutzt man es wie ich, mit einem iPad-Ständer, (den von AboveTEK kann ich sehr empfehlen, weil der optisch zum Apple Konzept passt und auch hübsch aussehen kann, sollte tatsächlich in Zukunft ein Macbook oder iMac daneben stehen), einer Tastatur, (idealerweise ein Magic Keyboard), dem Magic Trackpad 2 und selbstverständlich dem iPad selber, so würde ich behaupten ersetzt das auf Kurz oder Lang ein abgewandelte Form eines Macbooks oder iMacs, den ich zwar immer noch sehr gerne hätte, das kann aber dank dem neuen Setup etwas warten, weil es wirklich sehr gut harmoniert!
Das iPad wird mit einem iPad-Ständer + iPadOS + Magic Tastatur und mit diesem Trackpad wirklich zu einem noch besseren iPad und ich wusste nicht, dass das möglich wäre.

Selbstverständlich haben Apple Produkte grundsätzlich ihren Preis, aber wer einmal sich von den Apple Produkten verzaubern lässt, weiß auch zu schätzen, was diese für eine Zuverlässigkeit besitzen! Ich habe 30x mal überlegt und hinterfragt, ob mir das der Preis wert ist und jetzt sitz ich hier und kann sagen „Ja, definitiv“

FUNKTIONEN DER APPS: Nachtrag vom 09.04.2020, Benutzung nach einigen Tagen

Alle getesteten Apps von mir reagieren auch sehr zuverlässig, einzige Ausnahme ist momentan Word, welches manchmal verzögert reagieren möchte oder meint man sei mit dem Curser nicht auf „Einfügen“ zum Beispiel - ich hoffe sehr, dass diese sich Mühe geben, das zu fixen! „Läuft“ man aber mit dem Curser mehrmals im Kreis in Word und klickt dann auf „Einfügen“ funktioniert es wieder! Ich habe keine Ahnung, was daran so dramatisch ist, überall funktioniert es problemlos ohne Verzögerung oder Schwierigkeiten, abgesehen von Word! Ziemlich anstrengend, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Arbeitsfluss doch verbessert werden soll und nicht erschwert!
Dafür kann das Trackpad jedoch nichts, es soll nur als Information dienen, sollte jemand, wie ich, es zu Office Zwecken nutzen wollen!

Ganz zum Schluss möchte ich darauf hinaus, wie hübsch ich meinen Schreibtisch derzeit finde und ich sehr froh bin, diese Investitionen getätigt zu haben (Keyboard + Trackpad + Ständer) - wie sich das nun im weiteren Alltag als praktisch erweist, wird sich zeigen, wobei ich da ziemlich zuversichtlich bin!

Nachtrag vom 02.01.2021, ein ganzes Semester überstanden:

Mittlerweile neigt sich das Semester zum Ende und es geht langsam an die Hausarbeiten und ENDLICH funktioniert nun auch Word problemlos. Jede Curseraktivität wird erkannt, die Updates via Apple haben es echt noch besser gemacht und ich bin einfach nur unfassbar glücklich diese „preiswerte“ Alternative zum Macbook/iMac zu haben. Auch hat ein iPad seine Grenzen, darüber will ich gar nicht diskutieren, aber ein ganzes Online Semester lässt sich damit problemlos überleben und einen auch produktiv sein. (einer dieser Grenzen: Videoteilnahme via Zoom + Splitscreenview via Word mitschreiben, lässt das Video stoppen — für Dozenten die einen unbedingt sehen wollen ehr unpraktisch). Dennoch macht es Spaß sich dran zu setzen, alle Gesten über das Trackpad funktionieren, lernt man dann noch die Shortcuts via Apple Tastatur wird man tatsächlich sehr schnell darin Abgaben zu entwerfen, ein gutes Layout zu gestalten und sich ganz dem hingeben zu können, was sich Inhalt nennt. So muss das sein. Ich weiß, dass ich hier etwas ausschweifend kommentiert habe, hoffe aber vielen da draußen damit zu helfen, da es unter‘m Strich einer meiner besten Entscheidungen war mein iPad zu „erweitern“ und nicht für das Online Semester noch extra ein Macbook/iMac zu kaufen. In diesem Sinne würde ich mich über ein „hilfreich“ sehr freuen. Liebe Grüße

I use magic trackpad 2 and magic keyboard 2 on my windows 10 machine. They work like a charm.

But if you decide to use it on windows there are few things that you would have to do.

1st make sure that you disable the power-savings mode of your bluetooth. Just google it.

2nd you need to download a software for your trackpad called 'Magic Trackpad 2 Control Panel'. In this software you need to disable dragging and secondary clicks so that the mouse works properly and doesn't do things that you don't want it to do.

3rd In the windows mouse settings set the mouse (trackpad) pointer speed to the 7th notch and enable 'Enhance pointer precision'.

Also you might notice that the scroll speed is way to fast. You can easily fix that in the browser by downloading extension called 'Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller' and then using the following settings: 5,8,30,15. For other features and fixes please message the developer so he gets more messages about it.

I was thinking about upgrading to a Magic Mouse to support my MacBook Pro set up as I've always used a mouse when working from a workstation set up. But so glad I made the decision to go with the Trackpad. The Magic Trackpad is a major game changer for productivity on the Apple ecosystem. The two major benefits of the Trackpad for me are:

1) It's much more comfortable than using a mouse. The Trackpad encourages use of the whole hand, not just the wrist, so it's so much more comfortable over the course of a day. The Trackpad has a large surface area, so there's a good area to click and drag, either using one finger click and drag, or a combination of finger click and finger/thumb swipe. Anyway, if you have any concerns, particularly for using applications like Excel (which I do all the time) don't worry about it. Personally, I think the Trackpad is a lot better than a mouse for all day use. It's a pleasurable experience.

2) If you are working on the Apple ecosystem with a Mac or MacBook, a Trackpad opens up the world of gestures. I was a bit reticent about gestures, but having taken a short amount of time to learn and practice, they make a massive difference in functionality and ultimately productivity. Using Mission Control to see all windows (three finger swipe up), three finger swipes between screens (especially whilst using full screen video) and two finger swipes between pages are all hugely efficient. Gestures has opened up the benefit of "Launchpad" for all my Apps, which I hadn't really used before (I had everything in the Dock). I have the Trackpad set up for "right click" or "secondary click" (as Mac refers to it) as "two finger click" which is really quick and easy. Don't dismiss gestures like I did for so long, they really make a huge difference.

So, for me, Trackpad vs. Mouse is a no-brainer. Trackpad all the way (even with a Magic Mouse which has gesture support).

Some reviews I read point out that the Trackpad is less portable than a mouse, and this is probably true. It's certainly larger and heavier. Personally, when using my MacBook on-the-go I use the integrated trackpad, so this isn't an issue. If I was travelling between work sites where I used a plug-in screen and separate keyboard (obviously not doing that at the time of writing!), I would consider packing my Magic Trackpad as it's just that good!

Prodotto originale Apple, e come da prassi la qualità costruttiva e dei materiali non ha eguali, ma ovviamente si paga, e non poco.
Il trackpad è essenzialmente il pad tolto da un macbook e reso un pezzo a se.

Nella confezione (arrivatami un po schiacciata) Troviamo il trackpad e il cavo per la ricarica. Per la prima connessione basta accendere il Pad e collegarlo con il cavo al computer, il gioco è fatto. Ovviamente dopo si può scollegare il cavo ed usarlo senza.
Difetti? Nessuno, è un prodotto perfetto, semplice e funzionale. Il prezzo, o meglio, il sovrapprezzo mi fa storcere un po il naso.
Ottima l'integrazione con la seconda generazione di tastiera e mouse Apple, perfetto abbinamento.

Lo consiglio? Si e no: si a chi è abituato al trackpad di prima generazione, si a chi è abituato ai portatili (soprattutto MacBook), no a chi possiede già un Magic Mouse 2 (Molte, non tutte, gesture si hanno anche li), no a chi con il computer ci ''passeggia'' senza utilizzare programmi avanzati.

Great accessory - makes using my iMac much easier

Had this product for around 6 months now and, for me, it's made a big difference in using my iMac. I've found it easier to use than a mouse as I have limited desk space, so being able to put the Trackpad in a fixed location and move my fingers around on it is much easier than trying to move a mouse around in a restricted space.

I have a 2010 iMac and I'd seen several reviews that said people with iMacs of this vintage couldn't get this Trackpad to work correctly. However I didn't need to worry, I just followed the instructions that came with the device and it connected fine and works just as I'd expected.

Battery life has been excellent - after its initial charge, I've only had to plug in the Trackpad to recharge twice in all the time I've had it. However, I only tend to use my iMac for a couple of hours per day so I can't comment on how battery life would be for heavier users.

Overall, I've been very pleased with the product and my only regret is I didn't purchase one sooner!
