Présentation de l'éditeur

King Solomon, one of the Bible's most famous figures, died as an apostate. How could a man fabled for his wisdom reach the conclusion that God was false? The Armageddon Conspiracy reveals the answer to this greatest Biblical mystery.

The Temple of Solomon was not the House of God but a special chamber designed to contain a unique weapon, for which Solomon had the most astounding purpose in mind.

Solomon, a man obsessed with witchcraft and magic, believed he had found the key to the supreme mystery of life, but he died before he could complete his mission. The world's oldest secret society, of which Solomon was the Grand Master, still exists and now its members are about to perform the final cataclysmic ceremony Solomon had planned for so long. They are plotting to kill God!

5.0 étoiles sur 5 A deeply knowledgable book but beware of religious sensitivity. 22 août 2008

This book is absolutely amazing. I had little knowledge of such religious history before, but now, everything is more clear. I am not even sure if all of this is truth or fiction regarding the historical data represented but nevertheless, its imaginative story gives the reader an amazing view of the hidden and secret World of politics and religion. I read the website which enticed me to buy it and I feel it was a great enlightenment in some ways yet even I thought it was a book that would shock, shake and rattle most readers. I don't want to be a heretic as history has way too much power and secrecy to show what is true and what is not yet I found it enthralling and I couldn't put it down. I even found it mimicking my life's experience a bit. Its story is so encoded with questions that have been hidden from one that it makes one really know how much do you really know. Obviously these people are in the know and its great to read their work. I hope that there is a sequel showing what happens to the main character in this book. It would be enlightening to see, if she made it!

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Conspiracy to End All Conspiracies! 28 janvier 2013
Par Jeff - Publié sur

This book is the End of the world conspiracy to end all conspiracies! If there is one thing that I learned from reading the other books written by Mike Hockney is that the true story is "written" below the surface. This book was meant for people who like to think and enjoy the ride. Everything I learned in history class at school is now in question and whether or not this book uses true historical events, the underlying message will shock you, while the surface will fill you with suspense and keep you reading so you can find out how it all comes together. If you have ever been curious about the holy grail, or the Illuminati and want a glimpse of the knowledge they possess, this book will get your heart beating and will surely put you on the edge of you seat.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 The Truth? 15 juillet 2010

Everyone says they want the truth. Like that famous line in "A Few Good Men", "you can't handle the truth."

I think that this might be the real truth. Many people CANNOT handle the real truth. This book can be read in a number of ways at a number of different levels.

First off, it's a good read. If you like what I would call an "occult thriller", this is one of the best I've ever read. I don't care if you're a dyed-in-the-wool Christian, Scientific Materialist, Gnostic, Satanist, Pagan, or what-have-you, this is a good book!

However, it is much more than that. First off, it presents a view of history and reality that, if one thinks a bit, makes a LOT more sense than some of the nonsense we've been fed over the years. Having said that, don't expect it to make the reading list of Catholic Quarterly. This book is pure blasphemy at it's highest order.

For someone who's interested in esoteric history, it's superb. But for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, it contains pearls of deepest wisdom.

4.0 étoiles sur 5 decoded and delicious 28 juillet 2013

Wow I enjoyed this book. Another reviewer compared it to Dan Brown novels and I sort of agree. All the pieces are here: religious conspiracies, relic hunting, a properly lovable heroine, a love interest that holds its tension through most of the book, and waiting with bated breath to learn how humanity will get on - will we live or die?

I started questioning my own religion and my own knowledge and the gaps in my knowledge. I like that. I like something that makes me really think about what I believe. What seems right to me based on the information available?

Every book, relic, historical figure, etc was something I was able to find more information about on the web. I found some of that information particularly resonant for my own faith research. For that I am grateful.

Why not 5 stars? Like the other Hockney books (his are not alone in this problem) they are amateurishly published, there are some grammatical problems that caused me to need to slow down to figure out what the author actually meant. I don't mind a spelling problem here and there, but I find it annoying to have to stop and re-read a few times to figure out how to place a phrase or sentence back together with the right word. It didn't ruin the story at all, but I found it irritating at times.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 The Armageddon non-conspiracy theory 17 juin 2013

The Armageddon Conspiracy is apparently the book that started it all!! The book to which the best website on the internet was named after (created to apparently promote the book).
My first attempt at reading the book was unsuccessful as I'm not really a fiction buff, but after reading different explanations about the book I gave it a more thorough read & even took some notes on some of the subject matter.
Apparently, the book is written in a type of code; as to the nature of this code, & whether the effect of this code is maybe on the subconscious mind is uncertain (maybe I just didn't 'get it?') But I did have a strange mixture of emotions after having read the book, more so after the first attempt, even though I had read the book a bit too quickly (mostly a feeling about the futility of romantic love on planet earth).
What really impressed me about the book after the second, more careful read is all the history about the secret society known as The Ancient Order of the Illuminati & other associated topics such as the Knights Templar, The spear of Destiny, The Ark of the Covenant ect. (Indiana Jones fans will maybe get a kick out of reading the book!?)
Have a read, & notice what your emotions do after having read, maybe YOU, will 'get it?!'
