August MS450 Enceintes PC/Stations MP3 RMS 3 W

Cette enceinte est la meilleure que j'ai pu acheter sur le marché ! Elle est presque incassable et le son est super ! Les commandes tactiles marchent super bien et on a une petite lumière en plus. Cela fait des années que je l'ai et malgré les petits accidents qui sont arrivés elle est toujours en super état, elle est géniale !

Achetée à la base comme enceinte de secours pour aller dans le studio de mon fils. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité sonore et l intensité de l'amplification pour cette petite enceinte. Le plus, le wifi, très pratique. Enceinte tactile et qui vous permet de communiquer lorsque vous connectez votre portable dessus puisqu'elle est équipée d'un micro.

Petite enceinte bluetooth, avec un look sympathique, et qui permet de faire main libre avec le téléphone.
Son téléphonie correcte. Si on écoute de la musique fait le strict minimum, avec un son vers les médium/aigu.

Très bon produit avec un son extraordinaire. Câbles complets pour chargement et branchement écouteurs.
De plus, très beau design avec éclairage.

j'ai beau le mettre en charge, c'est tout ce qu'il sait faire. Qd je lève le capot pour le mettre en fonctionnement, la sonnerie attendue ne vient pas et le bluetooth n'est pas reconnu par l'ordinateur tout proche.
Que dois-je faire

L'enceinte correspond parfaitement à ce qu'on peut attendre d'une enceinte de ce prix : son de bonne qualité, facilité de réception et d'appairage, bonne autonomie. Je recommande ce produit !

Super Nice, great sound and good base, annoying blinking blue light

The Good: Great price, Very nice design, love the pop-up feature, and the way it pairs to another bluetooth device, the touch control for volume on the top is very cool, also seems to be well made and sturdy, and just the right size, does not cause fingerprints when handling.

Now the Bad: constant flashing blue light after bluetooth is paired is very annoying, it should have just been a solid blue light, that would have been much nicer.
The sound is pretty good with some nice base, however turned up to max volume using wired or wireless it is not very loud at all, that was the most disappointing feature, definitely does not fill the room up with music. I am still going to keep it as a backup and my wife said she would use it with her IPod when not using headphones.

Did a small revision to my review, and changed my rating to 4 stars, I originally stated the speaker was not that loud, well I was wrong, must have not been using the volume correctly, the speaker actually rocks for it's size and does fill up the room with music.

UPDATE: After 8 months, the unit has decided to not pair with any device. Actually, it "pairs" but doesn't do anything else. Like play music for instance. I'm not sure what the warranty is on this thing but I'm guessing I'm outta luck and stuck with an attractive paper weight...

The sound from this little speaker is pretty good but not as full as from my Cyber Acoustics CA-492 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Portable Speaker Dock. I love the fact that we can take it in the boat and have tunes on the water or the end of the dock.

The bluetooth signal isn't great however. It starts to cut out at about 15 feet or so and for some reason, it's all of a sudden decided to not want to pair with anything despite being fully charged. The battery lasts quite a while though when it did work.

The build quality is excellent and it looks great. People often comment on it saying "thats a speaker?!". I just wish the range was longer and that it worked.

I'd have to give the Cyber Acoustics dock the nod for sound quality and overall better purchase status- if only it were rechargeable...

I bought the August MS450 speaker as it is specifically advertised as suitable for use as a hands-free unit. Unfortunately the performance of the microphone is extremely poor, with very low volume and lots of interference. I tried it attached to a laptop, tablet, and smartphone, via both bluetooth and using the supplied 3.5mm audio lead supplied with the unit ( I also tried a different 3.5mm lead just in case the supplied lead was the problem). The performance of the microphone was equally poor under all test conditions, making it unusable for the purpose of a hands-free kit. It is also probably worth noting that connecting the unit via the 3.5mm cable means that some functionality is lost (e.g. the ability to answer a call from the speaker controls).

I have no complaints about the performance as a bluetooth speaker - the sound was rich, with good bass and plenty of volume, but that isn't why I bought it, and there are cheaper bluetooth speakers elsewhere on Amazon.

This speaker is quite big, bulky, and heavy - certainly not something I'd like to slip into my pocket or laptop bag, but OK if it's just going to be used on a table or desk.

I have also tried the August MS425 speaker - smaller, lighter, cheaper, good sound, but again the same problems with the microphone. If you are looking for a hands-free speaker, look elsewhere.

The bluetooth is a bit wonky at times, but the cable rarely disappoints. The sound is powerful, and the ipod-like volume control is a very cool feature. The materials are top class.
