The author's research and personal experience resulted in this compilation of baby sleep tips. The different temperaments of babies require different methods and there are techniques in plenty to choose from. Parents should also be comfortable with the sleep techniques used. Aside from all the methods for sleep training for babies there is sensible advice for parents to keep them fit and well and able to cope at this time. An excellent collection of tips on baby sleep training.

Don't get me wrong. I love my little 6 month old boy. He is my everything, but OH. MY. GOSH. Why didn't anyone warn me about the sleeping thing? My poor wife hasn't slept more than 3 hours in the past six months and this parenthood thing is kicking our behinds!

This book came out just in the nick of time! We have seen doctors, we have asked around and everyone kept giving us terrible advice. Stuff like, "oh, don't worry about it." Or they would just chuckle and say, "welcome to parenthood." We wanted some tips. That is all! We were desperate for tidbits of helpful info and now we have 250 of them!

I liked that this guide pointed out that not all babies are the same at that there are enough tips out there for multiple baby types.

If you are turning into zombies like my wife and I were, I highly recommend that you get this book!

This is a wonderfully written book that offers helpful tips that will help you put your little ones to sleep easily. This is a must have guide for all mothers.

Great book. Just fires tip after tip. Nicely sectioned in chapters and numbered for easy referencing. Some of the tips are just obvious, ones that everybody knows (or should know, like 16: rock to sleep). Others are real gems, like 30; the sleepiness reflex! The book read like a breeze, applying the tips will take much longer!

The author is obviously writing about a subject that that is near and dear to her heart. It was very easy to read with lots of good advice for parents with new babies. The index and outline of the chapter was clear and logical. The only thing I did not really like was the "tips" format, I felt a bit forced. I think the author might have conveyed her message a little better without partitioning her advice into tips but otherwise this was a very helpful book.
