Présentation de l'éditeur
To survive in Vietnam and come home alive required elite training, mental and physical repetition of the training, and true relationships. If we got distracted, failed to pay attention, disobeyed, ignored, or forgot what we were there to do, our percentage of surviving was greatly reduce. Believe me, there were many things to distract us. Some of us got hooked up and addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, the thrill of living on the edge, and/or other things that were their ready to destroy us, and this is before we even went on a mission in the junglles where we encountered our enemies. If it wasn't our enemies it was the snakes, diseases, and animals of the jungle that thrived in a tropical climate, that we needed to avoid. This book tells a very exciting and intriguing story of my training, experiences, and relationships, as a United States Army Staff Sergeant with the 75th Airborne Rangers in 1969 and 1970, performing reconnaissance missions behind enemy lines. And in 1971, serving as a Ranger advisor with the 2nd Ranger Command in the mountainous jungle region of border camp six at village Plei Mrong, South Vietnam near the Cambodian border. My mission was teaching and training Mountain Yard and Vietnamese soldiers in Ranger Warfare techniques and assisting them in relocating civilian villagers that were being plundered by the enemy. This story takes you from physical warfare in Vietnam to the spiritual warfare that goes on daily for your soul. Many questions about the spiritual realm will be answered and your faith will be renewed. My prayer is that it sheds light on the battle between good (God) and evil (Satan) that is waging daily within you. Sit back and enjoy this short, powerful story. My mission is to intoduce you to your Medal of Honor Winner, you're Secret Weapon, and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you, one that will change you, from who you are now, to a brand new person. You are the soul purpose of this book. Author Danny Cliffford

A little disappointed. Being a religious person and a Viet Nam Vet, Ithought the book would have been more about his day to day experiences "In Country" and possibly with a religious overtone. This was not the case. I understand what he was trying to do with his novelette but by distantly tying his "In Country" experience vaguely to his religious beliefs post "In Country" experience, didn't really agree with me. Happy for the author that he is a good Christian man, but he writes like he felt the need to save the reader. I just finished reading the Bible, so I was not ready to be preached to in a book supposively Viet Nam oriented. I do appreciate the author being a good Christian man and I wish him well with carrying on the work of The Lord.
Praise God !!!

Danny, I love the books you have written, straightforward and to the point with biblical facts, not fiction or legalisms. We are in strong need of a evangelistic revival of Billy Graham proportions. Thank you for your hard work here, I pray others will find it as useful as I have. Blessings to you and your ministry.
