Présentation de l'éditeur
"Blessed be technology! Cursed be technology!" In the high-tech aisles of the supermarket of the future, a man roams, clearly with a purpose. He spies on the patrons. He stalks them, one after the other, delighted by each of their actions. First, the gorgeous Gabrielle, super-sexy in her crypto-chic look, the latest fashion trend. Then, Evan, a chemistry engineer who suffers from unusual withdrawal cravings. Lucia, a dangerous Slavic model who works for the FaceLook International Agency.
Who is this observer? What is he after? What do the ones he observes have in common? And what about the Makina? The ubiquitous all mighty Makina...
(Important note from the Editor: watch out, GOOGLE aficionados, iPHONE and GALAXY lovers and FACEBOOK and AVATAR fans! This story might change the way you look at your high-tech gizmos. For they are not toys, trust me! )
Thomas Temple cruises the noir genre, he grinds the pulp. But he does it with gusto making the horror more palatable. His ink is laced with hydrochloric acid, his writing lively and corrosive uses suggestion and manipulation to enchant the reader. He guts the ordinary to bring out the extraordinary, from the abyss of mystery, anguish floats up. Thrillers and dead bodies... look out for that author.
THE DAILY MURDERS SERIES
At 'Daily Murders', crime lurks at every street corner, hides in your backyard and haunts your home. Criminals that look like you and I. They have crossed the line that separates thought from action in an uncharted day to day. Peeping toms, stalkers, rivals, Alzheimer, schizophrenia, and paranoia are some of Temple's modern tales' keywords.
