If I were a religious person, this would be my bible. This trilogy contains so much wisdom backed by rock solid logic, that you sort of wonder why it's not on everyone's desk yet. In his book, Tom uses a rational, scientific approach that brings you step by step to a better understanding of the bigger reality and the role you play in it.

The excellent title of the book isn't so much about Tom's big "theory of everything" (TOE), but about YOURS. The goal of the book isn't to replace your current belief system by another one, but rather to provide you with the conceptual foundations from which you can develop your own TOE, by transforming your beliefs into knowns through a careful process of open-minded skepticism: explore everything, but believe nothing.

If I have one slight criticism for this book, it that's it can be a bit lengthy at times, but that's only because Tom tries to reach every type of person out there. Some concepts are better explained from different perspectives depending on who you are talking to. Being a software engineer, the information system and computer metaphors used throughout the book really helped me visualize and digest some of the heavier concepts.

This book changed me in a very positive way, and I'm really enjoying every little bit of my life today. I hope, and am confident, that it can help you do the same for yourself.
