Présentation de l'éditeur

TITUS—To most his gift seems like a blessing, but for him it’s a curse the other Eternal Guardians—those who protect the mortal realm from threats of the Underworld—seek to exploit. One he would gladly trade for the chance to be free… Obsessed. Her touch is like a drug. From the moment he met her, Titus knew she was different. Even dangerous. Yet though his guardian brethren are convinced Natasa is working for Hades, Titus can’t stop thinking about her. Can’t stop fantasizing about her. Can’t stop craving the one thing he knows could lead to the downfall of his world. Possessed. Faced with stopping Natasa or joining in her quest, Titus falls to temptation and is thrust into a world of lust, deception, and deadly treachery designed by the gods. Her touch—only hers—frees him from his bonds, but desire may just condemn him. Because before the end he’ll have to decide which is more important: duty and honor to those he took an oath to defend, or a woman who could very well be the biggest curse to them all.

I love the Eternal Guardian series you won't be able to put them down. Bound is installment #6 of this fab series, and you learn more about Titus. His special gift and his horrible curse and the how and why he was cursed.

This book is a continuation of Enslaved where Titus first encounters Natasa (Tasa) and the mystery around why his curse does not react with her. (I'm not giving up a spoiler). The start of the book reveals Titus's obsession with her and trying to find her. As the story line progresses they actually do reconnect and their adventure begins. You learn about Tasa, what she is and what her quest is and who her father is. You soon realize that Tasa is actually Titus's soul mate and as the Fate's would have it or so it's said the Argonauts would have but one soul mate and it would be one they could not have, (proven wrong in all the books thanks to our sweetheart of a Fate enough said). He would do anything to protect her and she in turn to protect him. As you continue with this story you are introduced to new players, new obstacles and a twist I never saw coming with regards to Nick.

Like the old adage where there's a will there's a way and Titus and Tasa work around his curse. Elisabeth Naughton I give this book 5 stars and I so can't wait to see what the next installment has in store for us. Will it be Nick????

Stars: 5 (and well deserved)
Adrenaline: 5 (I'm not kidding)
Sexyness: 5 (times 100!)

BOUND picks up where ENSLAVED left off, but now we get to learn about Titus. *sigh, i love him* Titus is a Guardian you don't want to ignore. He's telepathic for starters, but that is only a small amount you learn from previous stories. You hear of him being covered so that he does not contact skin ie gloves and long sleeved shirts, etc. The reason for this goes in to detail in his book, and believe me, it gets HOT. Natasa, his love interest and obsession from first contact (you will want to be her, fyi) is a complete mystery. Their adventure leads you to learning so much about both of them. The character development is incredible. Elisabeth Naughton has never been one to let you down on actually "feeling" the characters. The action and suspense is never lacking. There are new developments in this war against the Gods, new players come into this game and you'll find yourself booing and cheering at the same time. My heart was racing during many scenes, you feel like you are actually there and it's amazing.

Anybody waiting for Nick's story? Well guess what, get ready to have your mind blown! *evil grin*

I highly recommend this series, and more so this book. You want the naughty, you have it here. You want believable characters and a love story that will make you warm inside, it's here. The passion is unbelievable, you will cry and laugh and sigh.

Well, I'm one of those people who just didn't get into this story and did not buy the main couple's romance. I want to rate it lower...and maybe should...but the parts of the story not about them were good and worth the read so I guess I'll stick with my three stars.

Honestly, I was kind of bored with Titus's story and it actually made me angry at times with what he does. Obviously having met Natasa in the last book, he has spent pretty much all of his free time searching for her while hiding out in his room saying he's still not 100%. But that only lasts until this party of sorts at the castle where Isadora is to make a speech about Atalanta being dead and Maelea being the one who killed her. Everybody's there...the Argolean people, the council, the Argonauts, the misos...and Natasa. They have no idea what she is, only that she has a lot of power in her. So when she's found out about visiting with Maelea, she ends up getting chased. And with Titus being the front runner. As she flees she ends up taking him with her and pulling him into the mess that is her life. She was seeking out Maelea for information because she is running out time before that which is inside her will destroy the world. Or so everybody thinks. Between Amazons, Zagreus and Hades they sure have their work cut out for them just to survive. And with the fever burning hotter each day inside of Natasa things only get harder. To prevent the worst from happening, Natasa takes her own life in her hands but Titus refuses to let her go. He completes the mission she had been on, but as it turns out it didn't really matter. Things had been planned out well and the outcome is that she can control her power. Which is even strong enough to repel Zeus and Poseidon. Being accepted as Titus's soul mate she becomes one of their family and with that comes their protection. Plus because of her, now the Argonauts have a powerful Titan on their side. Let the hunt for the last element begin.

Okay so, like I said, Titus kind of pissed me off here. In the other books he seemed like a fun happy go lucky kind of guy. Sure he hated hearing everybody's thoughts but he seemed pretty okay with life. But from the minute he could touch Natasa and not be bombarded by pain and emotion, he became obsessed with her. It was very off putting. And I really hated how he treated Theron and lied to everybody. And how he got so angry about how they "used" him to hear peoples's thoughts? Really? If he had such a problem with using his gift to do his freakin' job he should have just said so. I did really like the last thing he said to Theron though.

Now the good parts. We were not done with the triangle between Demetrius, Isadora, and Nick. At the party I mentioned before, Nick lets his anger get the best of him and he does something, that while he didn't regret it, was definitely a bad idea and really got Demetrius mad. Soon enough the anger between them reaches it's limit and it's only Isadora putting them both in their place that makes Nick realize he didn't understand what tied Demetrius and Isadora together until that moment. And now he's done. He doesn't want to lead, he doesn't want to make the important decisions, and he doesn't want people depending on him. But before he can make it too far away that damn bond he has to Isadora pulls him back because she's in a lot of pain. Here comes the baby. Unfortunately there are complications and Nick makes a deal that will take us to his book. We also find out about his real parentage which was a shocker for sure.

One thing that I can't help but wonder about is the physical connection between Isadora, Casey and Callia. I understand the one between Isadora and Casey because all of their lives their health has been dependent on the other. It had NEVER affected Callia until we found out the king was her dad and she was part of the Horae. So why all of a sudden, simply with new information, does the health of Isadora and Casey affect her just as much? To me, it just seems inconsistent and convenient for the sake of the story

I've excitedly waited for Titus' story. I have to say, besides Isa's and D's story, this is also a favorite of mine. There is a dark element to this book that surprised me but found fascinating. I'm loving this series. It only gets better. Great action, steamy romance and drama between the worlds of Gods and Argoleans. Every girls dream is what I say. I hope Nick's story is next. I'm desperately waiting for more.

I've been rereading this series and sigh. I am in love w/ this one. It only gets better. Sigh. The men of EG take my breath away. The women are strong, sexy and determined and the men are alpha, strong, protective---basically all the words to describe the perfect man. Sigh. That's all I can say about them. Titus & Tasa's story was unputdownable! Gripped from page one--no, since Tasa first came into the picture in the last book. I also LOVE these endearments they call their women. Swoon!!! Can't wait to get this in paperback!

Bound-
Titus has been obsessed with the mysterious red head since she arrived at the misos colony looking for Maelea. Theron sent her on her way and warned her away believing she could be a threat. Titus doesn’t know who she really is or why he feels he needs to find her. He is shocked when he spots her in the castle while the council is there for the celebration of Atalanta’s death.
Natasa needs to speak with Maelea. She has information that Natasa desperately needs. She escapes from Titus, the Argonaut that has been filling her thoughts. However she has alerted them to her presence and she must act quickly.
It becomes a race for her freedom and life. Unfortunately Titus grabbed her as she escaped through the portal. She was now stuck with him as he tries to figure out who she is and what her plans are. She is forced to bring him along.
They learn along the way who they are to each other and how important Natasa is to the war as all three ruling gods are after her. Only Titus has the knowledge to stop the unquenchable fire and free Prometheus.
There are lots of secrets and sacrifices in this book. I was glad to see Titus find someone he could physically touch. I always felt sorry for his character and how lonely he seemed. I loved this book in the sense that he knew who she was to him first and was determined to keep her. He was the confident one that had to convince her.
Then the side stories added some intrigue. We meet Hades’ son Zagereus and his scheming ways. Then, of course, when Nick kissed Isadora it created more doubt for Demetrius. So turmoil was flowing throughout the story from every direction. The reader wasn’t sure which ball would fall first.
The sacrifices from multiple characters changed some turn of events and created other problems to solve. With that in mind, the next book in the series should be very interesting. I’m not sure where the author will take it. It should be a fun ride, I’m sure. I give this book a 4 out of 5.
