Présentation de l'éditeur
This is the cryptic version of our route around Bruges in Belgium.
The Treasure Hunt starts at Belfort, Bruges’ medieval bell tower. From the Belfort, we head through to Markt and explore the city’s central market square. Then it’s on to Burg Square, where you can see the Town Hall and other municipal buildings, and across the canal to Vismarkt (the fish market). Our route then heads along the canal and on to the Cathedral of Saint Salvator. We then follow Steenstraat, one of Bruges’ main shopping streets, before winding past the Royal City Theatre on our way back to Markt. The Treasure Hunt ends back at the market square.
Kindle Treasure Hunts are a great way to make a walk around town more fun, interesting and even educational. As you walk round you are given a set of questions to answer based on things you can see along the route. You can use them to explore a new area, or to find the interesting nooks and crannies that you may have missed in a familiar one.
The 41 questions in this edition are designed to be fairly challenging. Most of the clues are written, but some are picture questions. Some are cryptic or require some basic general knowledge, and others are based on things on the route that may be tricky to spot. If you would prefer something more straightforward, for example if you are taking children with you, a family edition of the treasure hunt on the same route is also available from Amazon. This contains easier clues that should be quite straightforward to find and work out.
As you solve each clue, you can record your answer using the notes function on your Kindle, or use your phone or just good old pen and paper if you prefer. The treasure hunt is divided into sections, and there is a link to check your answers at the end of each section.
Our Kindle Treasure Hunts are designed for individuals or families and other small groups who are walking the route together. If you wish to do the treasure hunt as a competition in two or more separate groups, please visit the Treasuredays site for information on treasure hunts that will allow you to make as many copies of the question sheets as you need.
You should typically allow about 2-3 hours to complete the treasure hunt. But it may take longer if you stop for refreshments or retrace your steps to find clues you may have missed.
