As stated in my Seahorsin' Around review, I love China Glaze because after removing acrylic overlays my nails were weak and damaged and would still be a trainwreck if it weren't for the strengtheners in China Glaze polish, and that is no lie. Today my nails are beautiful and strong. In the past after taking off inlays I tried other polishes long before I discovered China Glaze and the middle and ring finger on my right hand never seemed to be able to grow as they would bend and break into the nail bed without polish, and seemed to break easily with other polishes. While occasionally my nails still crack and chip, it is less often and for this I will always be thankful to China Glaze.
As for Wish on A Starfish, I love the finish of this polish. Absolutely stunning and sparkly in the sun with or without top coat. I have worn this with and without top coat and it looks beautiful no matter. With top coat it needs a few coats as the textured polish seems to eat it up, so to speak. I would say two or three coats of top coat would suffice though. Again, as with all textured polish, removal is difficult with plain polish remover, so when removing this I use acetone which makes removal much easier.
I would recommend this polish if one can find it. It is beautiful and won't disappoint.
Wish on a Starfish was very easy to work with; it wasn't gloppy and spread evenly with no effort. I used 2 thin coats of the polish and there was still visible nail line when dry so I would recommend 3 thin coats or a white/colored base. Wish on a Starfish is a gorgeous light pink with lots of gold glitter. It appears salmon in color from a distance which I really liked. I got into late day 2 before I started getting tiny chips. This is typical of how textured polishes wear for me.
