Je trouve cette méthode ludique pour apprendre Norvégien grâce à une série de petites histoires (il faut avoir un niveau correct en Anglais).
Cette méthode me paraît plus efficace que la méthode Assimil pour ceux qui veulent simplement apprendre les bases du Norvégien avant de partir en voyage. Par contre, la méthode Assimil donne plus d'explications grammaticales et les thèmes abordés sont plus variés (donc plus de vocabulaire)... à mon avis les 2 méthodes peuvent être complémentaires.

The audio is superb, and the book logically develops basic language skills (not much video, but it opened seemlessly, too). The book seems to get poor reviews when it can't be opened on certain devices (and conversely great reviews when it works well on other devices). My copy opened easily and worked perfectly. Be sure your device is compatible and you'll be happy with this book.

HASH(0x95f3edbc) étoiles sur 5 does not work on Kindle Fire 10 février 2012

Audio and Video do not work on Kindle Fire. There is only text.

From the e-book:

"You will find playback bars just like the example on here located at each dialog.

Sample Dialog (1:28)

Just touch the play button to listen ..."

For example: Jeg, which means I, and is pronounced something like "Yai", (rhymes with I), you would never get correct without the audio. "Det", which means "it or the", and is prounced like "Day", you also need the audio to learn this correctly.

They should not call it Kindle-enhanced if it doesn't work on Kindle.

HASH(0x967840cc) étoiles sur 5 Beware, audio does not work for Windows 7 PC 18 janvier 2014

I give it some credit for the way it is written, it is easy to understand, but the audio does not work on my Windows 7 PC, and that is one of the main reasons I bought it. Too bad.
Update: The audio is not that much (I installed it on a different device), and the course is easy to understand. If you really want the audio, the Pimsleur course is much better for the audio than this, I would recommend both, as this book gives you an understanding of the construction of the language that Pimsleur does not give you, and gives you more vocabulary.

My recommendation: Buy this toghether with the Pimsleur course.
If you are going to use it on a PC, by the cheaper version without the audio. The Pimsleur course covers very similar conversations, and works much better for listening and pronunciation.

HASH(0x9678412c) étoiles sur 5 Fantastic for beginners 9 avril 2014
Par Matthew Polus - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: CD
I certainly recommend this set (book + audio cds) if you're like me and need a structured approach to learning languages. In other words, I don't do well with pure immersion with no explanation of concepts. The author introduces subjects very well and explains 99% of phrases used. She also does well explaining sentence structure and grammatical rules. My only complaint is the actors speak very slowly in the first 6 lessons, then really fast in the 7th and beyond. But it does make me listen multiple times and hopefully will make it easier to understand Norwegian when we're there.
