I thought it was just going to be about meditation and I was hoping it would help answer my primary interest on how meditation works. But as I read further, mindfulness caught my attention. It says that we are the expert of our own life, that we have the control over our feelings and actions, etc. The original core of every individual's personality is our awareness/mindfulness to the external world. So in as much as we recognize awareness in our ego that controls voluntary feelings and behaviors, we can achieve satisfactory happiness and at the same time adhere to our normal decision making principles without the stress. This book showed me how meditation can help me feel better through the use of mindfulness.

I loved reading this book. It's a perfect beginning book about mindfulness and meditation! The author give tons of useful tips on how to use meditation to trust in yourself, have more confidence, feeling good, and live in the moment!
Highly recommend it!

I've never really been one to meditate, but I have friends who do any speak highly of the practice. I decided to give Feeling Good a try, and I was impressed with the detailed information it contained! There's some helpful information at the beginning for people like me who know nothing about mediation. I really appreciated the honesty in the descriptions of the various meditation techniques. One in particular, the laughter meditation, sounded ridiculous to me, and the book up front acknowledges that it will feel weird at first and seem awkward. It then goes on to describe how the meditation can benefit you though, and I found that honesty to actually make me want to try it out. If you're looking for more information about meditation, this is a great place to start!

I have always believed in the power of the mind but has also always had a hard time training my mind to think of only good thoughts. This is the reason I got this book. And I am very happy I did.

Just at the start of the book, it already taught me how to properly meditate as a beginner. It taught me how I should train to focus my mind amidst its wandering a few times in the beginning. The next chapters became more helpful as it addresses various issues like trust and self-confidence. Really very helpful book during these times of extreme busyness.

Now a days majority of the people are suffering from depression and anxiety even if they've everything in their life. Meditation is something that they need to focus on and then the life will be good. Over all Exercise is good for health but you get the special treatment with Yoga exercise. You'll find lots of ways to keep yourself motivated and feel good right after initiating Yoga following the instruction of this book. Highly recommended!
