Lea A. Ellermeier is a serial entrepreneur, CEO, mom and author. In 2003 she co-founded Lingualcare, a medtech company and sold it to 3M in 2007. Her business memoir Finding the Exit is the story of overcoming a tragic beginning and finding success in the hyper-competitive world of technology start-ups. It captures the feelings of economic vulnerability that stalk women of disadvantaged backgrounds as they become executives and leaders. A native of Nebraska, Lea received her B.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso and an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. She is currently the CEO of REPLICATE Dental Technologies and resides in Dallas, Texas and Berlin, Germany.
