I already knew a lot about PCOS and that the route cause was from insulin resistance as I've done a lot of research over the years, but it was nice to have everything written down in front of me which I can refer to again and again when I need to. Although I knew about PCOS and insulin resistance and a little bit about eating low GI, i didn't know how eating low GI helped with combating PCOS symptoms and helping insulin resistance. I haven't yet tried the recipes in the book, but they look really yummy and I'm looking forward to trying them over the next few days. Also the sample menu looks like it will be really easy to follow :) I also like the fact that there is a clear table of foods at the back of the book with the GI, Carb and GL information which I've always struggled to find online. I can now easily refer to it whenever I want. Seems like a really easy way to eat healthily without having to cut out essential food groups or your favorite foods which often doesn't work long term.
