4,0 sur 5 étoilesMillions of pieces, pieces for me

I snapped up this Jigsaw puzzle app as soon as I saw it, and I'm happy I did. You get to choose how many pieces you want your puzzle to be, then you choose your picture, and a moment later your puzzle is waiting to be put together, which you do by sliding the pieces around on the touchscreen. You can choose just a few pieces or several, but even the easier puzzles are fun because the app keeps track of how long it takes you to complete them and saves your best times, so you can either put together a puzzle at your own pace for relaxation, or race to break your past records.
I agree with other reviewers who wish there were more than nine pictures in the app's library. Twice this number would have been about right, actually, but it's not really an issue because you can use your own pictures that you put on your Kindle. You can even go to the Kindle Fire HD's camera mode, take a quick photo of yourself, a family member, or a friend, and then import it immediately into the Jigsaw app to turn into a brand-new puzzle.
The only minor issue I had with "Jigsaw Tablet" is that it seems that you can push a puzzle piece so far off the screen when you're moving it around that it becomes impossible to pull it back into play. However, this only happened when I deliberately tried to do it; if you're reasonably careful, you probably will never have to worry about it (you can also quit and reset if you ever get stuck for whatever reason).
"Jigsaw Tablet" is a great deal for the price and is a fun-for-all-ages app that works very well on the Kindle Fire HD. If you prefer complex jigsaw puzzles with hundreds of pieces or 3D construction, this might not be your cup of tea, but if you enjoy quicker, less involved puzzles, this is the app for you.
5,0 sur 5 étoilesexcellent choice for the Kindle Fire 7

I use this app every day for brain distraction and relaxation. After finishing all the originals, I kept only the sheep and sunflowers. Love herding sheep! This works well with your Kindle photos, which may include pics you have created or which have come off the internet. Simply send them via cable from your PC to the Kindle. None of the originals is lost, merely set aside for a current choice. If your selection screen contains a dull pic, tap the little corner on it for a fresh choice. 108 pieces seems to be the max here, perfect for a few minutes of play in a busy day, but a very young child can handle the same pic with fewer pieces. The pieces are all on the board, and vary in shape, pleasingly, not too square or strange. Sounds are very subtle, you can do this without disturbing. This may seem a small app, but it is a little giant in my Kindle. Review update... I have used this app for learning the words to a Spanish folksong, and for learning the provinces of China. Perhaps more puzzle pieces would be an acceptable way to learn things like this, but I do like how simple it is to transfer maps and screenshots of song lyrics to one's Kindle Fire picture gallery. Just choose how you'd like to learn something by playing with jigsaw puzzle pieces of the image.

If you love jigsaw puzzles this is a good choice. You can choose as little as 20 pieces if you only have a few minutes. Graduated choices are also available for longer play. The choice of pictures makes the puzzles challenging whatever skill level you choose. Definitely worth the price - Oh wait ! It's free..
