After years of working to be healthy [...] , strong and fit I've tried everything from Tae Bo to pilates, from running to walking and from step aerobics to planking. What I've learned over the years is that bodyweight exercise is one of the most effective ways to stay strong, lean and healthy. So when I saw this book on amazon it piqued my curiosity.

This book does not disappoint! The descriptions of the exercises and the pictures are helpful and clear. This is the end all book for anyone looking for a variety of bodyweight exercises. Best of all, all you need to work out is yourself and this book. :)

I'm so excited to learn about new exercises with just my body! I learned alittle when I would take some exercise classes but this kindle book is super informative and the exercises are very effective! I have finally started working out again after having my baby and I don't believe in going to the gym. These exercises are helpful because you can do them in your living room or at the office! I'm glad there are pictures because sometime the wording can be difficult to interpret. I love how well this book is put together and how each section is labeled. I'm mostly looking to work on my core but also get toned everywhere else. I still have a few pounds to lose and I'm very thankful I found out about this book because now I can change up my routine. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review through the Amazon Review Trader.

This is a great book to keep right on your kindle reader on your cell phone. It is nice to have it ready when I go outside with my kids. So often us moms just stand there and watch the kids play thinking it would be nice if I would have had some time to get a workout in. This book is FULL of wonderful body weight suggestions that can be done in a short amount of time. Just the time you need to keep an eye on the kids and get some exercise. My kids have even stopped playing, and joined in on some of the exercises I have been able to do. It’s a great tool to have right on my phone and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get fit while trying to balance a busy life! I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.

Of course some of the exercises are slight variations of the main exercise, but that doesn't take anything away from this book, as the slight variations could work the muscles different ways. Good pictures of each exercise showing the beginning and end of the exercise.

The only suggestions I would give on this book are a hardness scale - what exercises are best for beginners; more detail on the squats and lunges so a person knows how to do them right; and it would be nice to put the index of exercises in the front of the book.

The price for this Kindle version of the book was great! The book gave lots of great exercises to try. There were photos in the book has which help show the correct form as well as an explanation on how to do the exercises and exactly what doing that particular exercise benefits. Most of the exercises required no equipment however some used furniture easily found (chair, park bench, picnic table, a tree or a wall). The exercises shown in this book can be done at home, in a hotel room, at the gym, etc. There were some exercises that were almost too similar to others so the 150 mentioned seemed like a stretch but still worth it.

The beginning of the book gives a little information on the number of reps for the various exercises, as well as frequency and time length. Obviously the book is just giving a recommendation and each person is different and needs to do what works best for their body & needs. The book was broken up into sections such as total body, core, legs, arms, yoga, and stretches.

I have taken classes at a local gym and many of these exercises are used in the circuit training classes. It is helpful for me to have a list of exercises at home to help me vary what I do outside of class.

The chosen photo local is a bit strange. In a park with dead brown grass.

I am very pleased with this ebook and would recommend it to anyone looking for ways to change up their exercise moves or to someone looking for details for the correct form. I did receive the Keep Calm and Get Fit: 150 Bodyweight Exercises book at a discount in exchange for an honest opinion and review of the product. I often purchase items from Amazon after reading reviews. I appreciate people's honest opinions and experiences and I aim to provide the same when submitting my reviews.
