Really, really, really bad! Zero stars!! Poor writing, very short, inaccurate information. Not one helpful sentence. Unbelievable! Written by a Dr.?! It seems like it was hurriedly written by a 5th grader for a school essay---superficial, trite and full of errors. Here is a sample sentence: "There is no doubt that the body truly needs carbs, but because there is so much of it around, a lot of people do not have to worry about carb deficiency. There are foods that contain way too many carbohydrates." Oh, really?
Here's another gem: "Even dried fruits are something that people should watch out for. This does not mean they should stop eating it completely, but they should regulate how much they eat of it."
The author includes a recipe for a dressing that includes 3 T. of ketchup AND 2 T. of sugar.....wow, low carb??!! He doesn't bother to give a carb count for anything. His recipe for "pancakes" contains 1/2 cup (!) of bread crumbs. Insane.
Here's another Masterson tidbit of wisdom: "Regular water is very good for the body, but it is not the only drink out there." "When you do crave for the taste of soda, you can still drink some, but you should always go for the light one......"
I can't stop, it's just so goofy: "Portion control is a key element of any kind of diet. People can still eat what they want, they just have to learn not to eat too much of it."
Last, but not least: "The benefits of a low-carb diet are as many as the steps needed to do it." What? Like the majority of this book, it makes absolutely no sense."
I got this free, but you'd have to pay me to keep it on my Kindle. It's a travesty that Amazon even has it on their site. I think I just got punk'd!

I cannot believe that any person of science wrote this book directed to the uninformed and uneducated in nutrition .Repetitive and simplistic.

The grammatical and spelling errors and the invalid information it's just another book to have in your library taking up space- some things were informative others just redundancy.

This book seems to be written by a non-native writer. I doubt, the writer is a doctor. It should be a pen name but the author should avoid putting a "Dr." even in pen names.

Let's talk about the book now:

The book is poorly written. Tons of grammatical errors. The author could have used an Editor. Here's one instance:

"It is a very good idea to eat meat that is fresh. There are different kinds of processed of meat that actually contain a lot of sugar because food companies use it to preserve and sweeten the actual meat."

What's "processed of meat" ?

I left the book halfway.. Honestly, it read like a high-school essay.
