For five years Samantha’s life was relatively normal, she worked for her aunt managing a jewelry store in downtown Helena, and enjoyed riding her own motorcycle around Montana. Until one spring evening when all hell broke loose, Cooper launched himself back into her life. With him he brought dangerous men in the form of a bald headed thug and a gorgeous private investigator. Jake Miller, the gorgeous P.I, silently slipped into Samantha’s live to protect her from the chaos and the baggage her ex-fiancé brought to this quiet fishing hole.
Samantha, a Butte native carries a shotgun for protection, loves Evel Knievel, cold Corona, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. She tries to act tough but when Mr. Clean, the bald headed thug, breaks into her house and kidnaps her scrawny stalker, she turns to Jake in hopes that he can help her get out of this predicament. Samantha is attracted to Jake immediately but she is unsure if he has the same interest in her. In a very short period of time his attraction is obvious. But they are continually interrupted by distractions from her bossy best friends, a biker party at the local watering hole, and a few possible murders.
Some sexual tension, motorcycles, a broken down boat and plenty of guns. This story shows a feminine side to a woman that rides a Harley and gets herself into some unknowingly hot water.
