5.0 étoiles sur 5 Celeberate with the Best Multi-Doc Story of all Time! 15 mai 2014
Par Jere G. Adams - Publié sur Amazon.com

Being a lifelong Dr Who fan, I am delighted to say The Light at the End delivers-both as a 50th anniversary story and as a multi-Doctor adventure especially. Rumor has it, this special two-part adventure was made at the behest of Tom Baker himself, as he wanted to work with the other Doctor Who stars for the big anniversary. I am so happy that he was willing to do so, because the end result is even better than 1983's The Five Doctors.
Yes, the Master is back, this time not just tormenting one Doctor but five, in his most deadly plan yet. Companions are sucked out of time and space, and each Doctor must solve the mystery of November 23rd, 1963 and a certain man named Bob Davies....
the end result is thrilling and there is even a little humor at the end of the adventure with some bickering between Bob and the Paul McGann Doctor. And yes boys, Charley is back!
And companion Ace sounds just as she did in the 1980s serials she co-starred in with Sylvester McCoy, who also sounds pretty much as I remember him. Fans wanting Tom's Doctor to interact with his sucessors can ask for no more, as he and McGann stand up to the Master to privide a distraction for Doctors 5-7 in setting time right!
The Master, played here by Geoffrey Beevers, has a weapon and is using it to rewrite history.
Doctors 1-3 are well represented by old style soundtracks and their companions make a stunning addition to the fun as well. Colin Baker fans need not worry, the Sixth Doctor and Peri are dealt a good patch of the action (it is he who figures out what the Master is doing and the central plot in Part 2 in fact) and there is also a cracking good cliffhanger as Nyssa is pulled out of time screaming the Fifth Doctor Peter Davison's name.
I highly recommend DOCTOR WHO-The Light at the End. Order your copy today!

This is a true 50th anniversary story. All the actors have equal time as the Doctor. Something the tv couldn't do. Highest recommendation!

5.0 étoiles sur 5 The Light at the End Review! 18 juin 2016

The Light at the End is one of Big Finish's best stories to date. Starting with the stellar cast, everyone is at their best, from the Doctors to their companions, you can easily tell how much effort everyone puts into the story. The story is equally entertaining, with every Doctor and companion being used in fantastic ways. I especially enjoyed how the Doctors and companions played off each other in interesting ways. The sound team is also at it's best, from the simple things like footsteps echoing in a corridor, to electronic crossbows firing, to the theme song, which combines everything good about the classic Doctor Who themes, while having a contemporary feel woven into it. Well worth the price and wait!

Part of the 50th year celebration, this story concerns the 4th to 8th Doctors and the Master. And appearances by a lot of the companions. And each of the Doctor's time barriers are starting to break----a very interesting story.

4.0 étoiles sur 5 I really liked this story 15 septembre 2015

I really liked this story. It was great having all the classic Doctors, including the first three. And the bonus discs were cool.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because The Master should have had a bigger part in the 2nd half. Other than that its great.
