In the pictures I attached, I am wearing the foundation with tonymoly lip tint on my cheeks but nothing else. I am amazed at how much coverage it provides without looking too cakey or foundation-like. It really is very dewy! It has some minor yellow tones to it (see my forehead for best example, I don't have red undertones or discoloration there, and you can see it looks a little yellower).
I use the included spongelike applicator and dab it on like you would use a beauty blender. You really don't need a separate brush or applicator.
All in all, it's a steal for the price. I'm definitely going to purchase more!
It moisturizes and protects with a whopping SPF50!
I love BB creams and I've tried a lot of them. Dr. Jart and Missha are my favorites, but Missha is much more affordable (for the same thing I think, honestly) However I've never used a cushion before. I had been skipping my BB creams because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of the thick makeup application.
This I can apply anywhere, it is fast, simple, and it looks great. It gives my skin a nice dewy finish, and doesn't require a lot of touch ups. (as long as you don't touch your face a lot, which you shouldn't do anyway!) If you don't like the dewy finish, set it with powder. I switch it up depending how I'm feeling on that day. Today I set it with powder. It gives a flawless matte satin finish with powder.
The compact is nice, sturdy enough that it doesn't feel cheap, but it is pretty thick because it's a cushion compact, it needs the space. It's about maybe an inch and a half thick, and normal compact size otherwise. It has a mirror inside, and a nice cover for the cushion which houses a sponge for applciation. The sponge isn't bad either, I thought it would be and I'd need to use a Beauty Blender, but it's fine actually. I take my compact with me everywhere so I'm always ready whenver
It has a pleasant smell too, it isn't at all overwhelming. I haven't noticed any oxidation or darkening of the product on my face after it cures, (dries on my face and settles during the day) it looks perfect to me. I get compliments on how flawless my skin looks, it's great
I wouldn't recommend this to people with acne or problem skin though. It does have buildable coverage, but it's still pretty sheer. I think the formula is designed to be thinner so that it has a nice lightweight application, but that makes it probably not the best choice for people with acne or problem skin. They do have an empty version of this compact on the Missha site though, you can buy that and put whatever BB cream you want in it, just a tip. ~.^
This compact will last about a month with daily use.
The finish is GORGEOUS though, so if dry down isn’t an issue for you and you’re rather pink toned and about NW-10 or 15, I would absolutely recommend it.
I’m going to try to find shade #18 and hopefully it will be lighter and more yellow. Photo was taken in office lighting, to show off finish, but the colors are VERY off
