assez leger et pratique et économique, mais attention, perds sa stabilité monté d' un canon 700D avec un 70-200 (plus tete biensur). Dans ce cas prendre model plus robuste

Bien pour le prix, mais pr appareil leger uniquement.

HASH(0x95c087ec) étoiles sur 5 Good entry level tripod with ball head 4 août 2010
Par Christopher Miller - Publié sur Amazon.com

I received this tripod for Christmas, and it has been a great little tripod to carry around. It's light enough to carry around on trips or hikes. The ball head makes it easy to position the camera to get just the right picture at the right angle. I was filming a wedding and had a camcorder up on the tripod. Because of the way the seating was arranged at the church, the tripod was at an odd angle. With the ball head it was trivial to get the camcorder level.

The only drawback that I have noticed is that it does not come with a quick release mechanism for the camera. You have to screw the camera directly to the tripod. This makes the tripod a little awkward to use. I bought a quick release adapter, the Manfrotto 323 RC2 Rapid Connect Adapter with 200PL-14 Quick Release Plate, and that works great with this tripod.

HASH(0x95c08a14) étoiles sur 5 Great tripod 25 décembre 2009
Par matt - Publié sur Amazon.com
My tripod has worked great, and proven to be a very worthwhile investment. Considering what many tripods go for, I consider this a very good value considering the durability and features.

This tripod is built to last. Alot of my photography is nature so I am always sticking this into water, mud, sand, and the legs still move freely. The black finish is durable and doesn't scratch easily. Also, if something does get broken Bogen imaging has great replacement parts service. I broke the ball head arm release lever on mine after dropping it hard on a road, called the company and a replacement was at my house in 2 days.

My results with the stability have also been great, contrary to the previous review. I am using this with a Nikon D90+18-105 kit lens which as anybody who has held one knows is a fairly heavy combination. I have taken many long exposures with it as long as 30 seconds. The images produced are always sharp, I've had no problems with stability.

HASH(0x95c08af8) étoiles sur 5 Great for light SLR duty 18 février 2010
Par S. R. Murray - Publié sur Amazon.com
Having used much larger and more expensive tripods in a studio setting, I needed something in between the behemoth I normally used and the pitiful Targus I had to buy in an emergency situation. For the price, this tripod is a great value since it's been very stable and the ball head is a joy to work with compared to a pan head. It's just light enough not to be a burden to carry.

For those worried about a heavy body/lens combination on this tripod, I've had no trouble getting it to keep a Canon 50D and 300mm telephoto stable, but I would not advise something this top-heavy in heavy winds or unstable ground. The only reason for the missing star is the lack of an easy place to hang a camera bag for added stability.

HASH(0x95c08c6c) étoiles sur 5 Sturdy depending on the lens 4 novembre 2011

I upgraded to this tripod because I wanted something a little bit sturdier and I wanted a ball head mount instead of a 3-way tilt. When it arrived, it was a little smaller than I expected, but the build quality is great -- very sturdy. You don't need to turn a knob on the side in order to loosen the legs, they are built with enough resistance to where you can pull them out to whatever angle you need, which is pretty nice if you are adjusting the leg angles on the fly. Also, it is nice because the angle of each leg can be adjusted independently. It came with a carrying case, which was a nice surprise. It does not come with quick release built in, so I would recommend buying the quick release adapter. It is a must-have for me. The ball head is mediocre, and since it is built in to the tripod you can't upgrade it. It's a little bit smaller than a golf ball, and if you have your camera tilted on the side at an angle, there's a good chance the ball head might slip a little bit. Keep in mind that I am using a Nikon D90 with a 16-85mm Nikkor lens for most of my tripod shots. This is an average size DSLR body and then lens is heavier than your standard 18-55 kit lens. All-in-all, it's a sturdy tripod, but if you are an advanced amateur photographer that has uses some macho lenses or you take like to take pictures with your camera at weird angles on your tripod, then I would suggest getting one with a larger ball head mount. I'd say for most people's needs though, this is a great tripod for the price.

I have to say that I bought this tripod with a little bit of fear because of some of the reviews I read. However, I'm happy I did because it's of great quality. It's well built and the material seems very durable. You have to either sit on it or put a giant camera on it to break it. It's sturdy enough for me and can be carried easily. When completely folded can be put into a bag and won't take much space. I have a CaseLogic sling camera bag and I can just strap it onto it and be on my way to great panoramic photographs in no time. Another plus is that it comes with a head, not the beast there is but it certainly does the job. If this is one of Manfrotto's cheapest tirpod...I can't wait to buy one of the more expensive ones. They ought to be superb!
If it's the first tripod for you and you can't afford the most expensive ones, don't doubt, go and get it because you won't regret it.
