A young doctor suffers from dissociative amnesia caused by a traumatic event and is forced to take on a a random identity. He carries a name completely foreign to him through sad and happy times for many years, continually haunted by a picture in his possession of a young woman and a little boy, both of whom are completely unfamiliar to him. He lives for twenty years with the burden of not knowing if his past and true identity will ever be restored.

Born and raised in the foothills of the Adirondacks, Marie DeSantis has lived most of her life in upstate and central New York State. As a lover of music, lyric and literature, Marie has written poetry and several short stories. This is her first full-length novel.
