Utilisation avec Lync. Aucun soucis. Superbe accessoire.

3.0 étoiles sur 5 Not sure I would recommend, especially given the price 18 janvier 2013

I had one of these with my previous job, supplied by my employer. It worked pretty well, actually, with the Microsoft Lync technology. It was tightly integrated and worked well for conference calls. I'm starting to think that this device is best avoided if you are not exclusively using Lync. (That said, myself and a lot of my former coworkers would periodically have these things die on us...I think my employer ended up replacing several of them.) Fast forward a few months, and I'm starting to use Skype a lot more...I remembered this Polycom device, which is hands free, and allowed me to walk across the room and keep talking without people on the other end really noticing. Long story short, I have not been happy with my decision to purchase one of these for Skype use. I get a lot of echo problems, and I get a lot of chopping up of the conversation unless I am constantly using the Mute button. I also can't get up and walk around the room like I could with Lync...I have to stay in my chair, two feet from the thing. I might has well have bought a much cheaper wired headset if I have to stay in my chair. If you are not a Microsoft Lync/Communicator user, think twice about this Polycom speakerphone device. You may not get the quality you are used to with the Polycom speakerphones you see in conference rooms all the time. I've been having enough call quality problems with this thing that I've about given up on it. I only wish I had decided this before my review period expired. I think my next step is to shell out money again for a wireless headset that explicitly claims to work well with Skype. Skype-to-skype, one on one, it does OK. But dial out to a phone number, or join a group call, and you will likely have call quality problems.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Excellent for Live meeting and communicator 2 mars 2011

I purchased this Polycom CX100 USB speakerphone so that I could hold a conference call from my laptop using live meeting or Microsoft communicator as quite often I end up in a small conference room or in my office with 3 or 4 people and no way to easily include them in the call. Using speakers and a microphone never works well with feedback and echoes so I thought I would give this a try.

The day after it arrived I was on a plane to visit a remote site and sitting on a conference call using a land line and and regular speaker phone the connection was terrible we tried a number of times to improve the call but in the end I hooked up the CX100 to my laptop and connected to my college via communicator and the quality was excellent, even in a large conference room we could here him perfectly and he said the sound was great and no echo.

Just today in a training session the trainer was having problems with the set up so I hooked him up with the CX100 and with three people remote and 15 in the room again the sound was excellent on both ends.

On windows 7 just plug in the device and it is recognized and becomes the default for communicator and live meeting. There are 2 buttons on the from of the device with icons that indicate call and hang up but do nothing so I rate it a 4 on features. Otherwise this is a perfect device and I'm sure it would work just as well with skype or any other voip through a computer. Definitely recommend.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 A great product for road warriors and long conference calls 28 octobre 2010

I presume that the version of this product designed for Skype works just as well.

I've been a fan of Polycom for a long time and for years have used a Polycom SoundPoint Pro SE-220. As someone that doens't like headsets a great speaker phone is very important to me.

But the switch to digital VOIP found me using my SoundPoint less and less. The Polycom communicator is the perfect replacement for the digital age. It works perfectly with my Office Communicator set up--even the RC version of Microsoft Lync--which is what I'm using it with now. I just plug it into my computer and go--it's a perfect speakerphone and it's smaller enough and comes with a great case so I can travel with it too. Coupled with a pair of your favorite headphones or ear buds for when you can' use a speakerphone and you've got a perfect set up that takes up no more space than a portable USB drive.

My only wish list would be for the device to have a keypad. All the buttons work perfectly but a physical keybad would be great.

I purchased this on Amazon using PRIME and found the price to be very competitive. Highly recommended if your someone that spends alot of time on the phone with VOIP solutionsbut can't stand headsets or bluetooth devices.

I use this product with Windows 7 and it's plug and play and auto-recognized, I would expert it works equally well with Vista and Windows XP but that you may manually need to install drivers on XP.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Superior Sound 14 décembre 2010

Pros: Superior sound and clarity vs. laptop mic & speakers
Cons: Not all button functions work with Windows 7, but this isn't a deal breaker

If you rely on Skype or other internet programs to communicate, and you need a speakerphone vs. headset, then the CX100 is a MUST. I rely on Skype for my business communications, and my laptop Mic & Speakers were just not cutting it. This speakerphone maintains Polycom's brand reputation for solid equipment, and the resulting sound quality is just excellent.

The unit has a solid feel, and the USB cord is built in and self contained within the back of the unit--in other words, you won't have to worry about losing the USB cord during a road trip. The CX100 came with a vinyl carry case, and it is compact enough to slip into my briefcase for road trips.

I was hesitant at first about springing $100 for a speakerphone solely to be used my laptop, but it has proven to be worth the investment as my group teleconferences with clients and remote sales people are crystal clear. Note that I run Windows 7, and not all the built-in buttons work (like cancelling the call); that said, it is not a deal breaker since I control all functions via the laptop anyway. Volume control still works on the CX100 so I'm happy.

I'd highly recommend this to anyone in need of a portable, high quality speakerphone for use with Skype or Google Chat.

I purchased the Polycom as I work from home and do conference calls via Lync off and on throughout the day. I sometimes find it difficult to hear and difficult to click on the mute/unmute button to speak on calls. This Polycom has solved both of those problems. It allows you turn the volume up to a more reasonable level when needed, and the mute/unmute button is right at your fingertips when needed. All you need is an available USB port to plug it in on your computer. From there, I just leave it plugged in and sitting on my desk for easy access. I have been extremely happy with this product and would recommend it.
