1.0 étoiles sur 5 Irreparably broken after only a few uses 30 mars 2015
Par Jeffrey Meunier - Publié sur Amazon.com

Ours broke within just a few months, and with very light use. The rear corners are made of a farily elaborate plastic part, which is riveted to the bottom bars. One swift kick, and one of these rear corner pieces completely cracked in half. (see photo). This renders the whole thing useless.

Insufficient quality for price, and only a 90 day warranty. Buyer beware.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Incredible value for 12X6 goal 1 février 2012

Similar in style to the Bownet but at a third of the cost! (compare the $120 price to the $329 for Bownet and $299 for iGoals) For a 12X6 option this portable goal cannot be beat. Easy set up with only 4 separate pieces including the net. I put a couple of 20lb sandbags on the side (not the back bar per instructions) and it holds firm for my indoor practices. Perfect for U9 & U10 ages and close enough for Futsal. I've owned several iGoals and I'm switching over to the Kickster going forward. The aluminum frame is all interconnected with shock cord so it all stays together when broken down and it has click-button connection when put together. Durable enough for my U14 to crank shots at it all day. What I really like about the Kickster compared to the Bownet is the white nylon "frame" that gives a good visual representation of what a goal looks like. (My main beef with Bownet is you can't see the top of the net). All the pieces fit easily into the carrying case and it is extremely light (especially when compared to the iGoals). I will be using this with a TOPSoccer team and I'm comfortable that it will be a very safe option for them should the make contact with the goal. All we need now is for SKLZ to come out with 7X21 and 8X24 version at the same price points and they will dominate the marketplace. I bought one and within a day ordered another I was so impressed.

1.0 étoiles sur 5 My 3rd goal in 3 years. Ugh....good for LITTLE kids only 18 décembre 2013
Par K.K. - Publié sur Amazon.com

My son used this while being 10 years old. It's trashed. Broken at he corners, and the darn thing constantly needed to have the stakes pounded back into the ground because they would not hold. The instructions tell you that you can't put stakes in the back, only on the sides. Why??? Therefore, 10 minutes of shooting later, the goal has come up out of the ground and Daddy needs to go fix it again. Plus, the top is flimsy and the net had a hard time staying in place where it connects at the bottom. Furthermore, the corner pieces, made out of black plastic, are not very durable. One of mine broke and I could not find a replacement part. Buy this for little kids, and it will be fine. Not recommended for ages 9 and up IMHO.

2.0 étoiles sur 5 Tension rod broke in about 2 hours of VERY light use. :-( bummer 17 juin 2014

The 8x5 goal assembled very easily. After a few kicks on goal by my 7 & 6 year old, and a few by me. Mom had lunch so we went in. When we came back out, the net was on it's back. I assumed the wind had pushed it over. Upon righting it we discovered that one of the fiberglass arms has broken right at the base where it is inserted into the metal pipe. Bummer! Upon closer inspection, the other fiberglass rod shows permanent deformation, also at the same location. The fiberglass rods are what keep the net under tension, so without those there's no way to use it since there is no framed opening.
I like the net design and elected to receive a replacement. I will post an update after we use the new one. I would say "proceed with caution"

UPDATE: Although I really like the design of this product, I cannot recommend it. I received my replacement net in just a few days, thank you Amazon. We carefully set it up outside on a warm, sunny morning. I kicked in a couple balls, then I let it be. I left it set up all day. When I came back in this evening, the net was noticeably slack. One of the tension rods had a 3 inch longitudinal crack at the end which inserts into the support pole. The rod on the other side had permanent deformation and slight delamination. Unfortunately, I had to return the item for a refund. Fortunately, Amazon is awesome.
I am very curious about how the other reviewers are having any success in using this product; I could not have used it any lighter nor been more careful in my assembly. Dunno?
3.0 étoiles sur 5 Broke after a few weeks 30 octobre 2016
Par First Time Mom - Publié sur Amazon.com

My son loved this goal for the 5 weeks he was able to play with it. Unfortunately his 8 year old shot was too much for the plastic piece holding the bottom of the goal together and it's now broken. Really disappointing given how much this goal cost.

Update - Changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Contacted the company and they are sending a new part to fix the goal as part of their 1 year warranty. Was pretty easy to get - contacted them, sent them a picture of the problem and a receipt and they have a new piece on the way. Keeping it at 3 stars because it did break rather quickly for the price but kudos to good customer service to get it fixed and back up and running again.
