This book presents a healing method, different than Reiki or Quantum touch. You put one hand on the damaged part of the body, one hand on a safe part, and you equalize your sensations. This is not a method for beginners, nor "une méthode pour les nuls". The book is rather hard to read but very interesting for some studies about the process by which thoughts come and pass in the mind. I have tested the method on myself, it works, but I prefer Quantum touch (buy the english version, the french translation of Quantum touch is not accurate).
Most interesting is the fact that the author is a long practitioner and teacher of transcendental meditation (TM) from Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, the guru of the Beatles and Mia Farrow, which was so criticized as well as his technique. The author quotes answers from Maharshi about the process of thoughts which show a profound understanding and a long practice of meditation. The author says that he has practiced TM during hours in retreats where he was observing his mind. This is similar to Dzogchen meditation and is fully against the usual advice saying that TM is just repeating a mantra. In yoga this repeating technique is known as Japa. Japa is probably just the first practice of TM, I have read on the web that there are also affirmations... I have never practiced TM, but I practice Japa meditation according to other schools, and there are real effects on mind, and this book is an other proof.
