My first attempt at setting the watch was done incorrectly - I did not wait for the second hand to reach 12, as the directions advise (one time reading the directions first could possibly help). When I set the watch initially, time seemed a bit off in terms of how the hands lined up, and the date and day indicators changed at odd times and were not synchronized. Following the directions and pulling out the crown with the second hand on 12, I set the watch again, and it has been perfect since.
I'm a person who likes to know just how much charge I have available in everything, so the charge indicator is a great touch for me. Initial charging with the crown was easy, and in very little time I had more than a day's worth of charge wound up. Since that initial charge, I have not needed to wind the crown again. I wear the watch daily, and after two weeks of constantly being worn, it has charged itself to between 1 and 2 weeks of charge with just my typical arm movements.
There has been no discernible loss of time accuracy in the couple weeks I've used the watch. The hands do indeed line up perfectly with the markings. In terms of style, the watch actually looks a bit more sleek and stylish than it does in most photos - there are more shiny components than are obvious in pictures. I have to say it looks better to me in person than in photos. The watch looks sharp and eye-catching without being flashy.
The one complaint I have about this watch is regarding the day and date. Apparently this watch does not track an actual calendar of any sort, so it does not know the month. On the first day after every month that has less than 31 days, the date must be reset manually, which means that due to the method of setting day and date, the day must also be reset. In other words, since September has 30 days, you must set the day and date manually on October 1 - otherwise, the watch will display the date as "31." This may be common among analog watches that display a date, but I have little enough experience with that to know, and it is a drawback for me. I now understand the draw of analog watches with a "perpetual calendar," and will likely look for that in my next watch.
In terms of accuracy, craftsmanship, and appearance, I have no complaints about this watch so far. I'm overall very happy with my purchase and would certainly recommend it to others. If this watch sported a perpetual calendar without losing the charge meter, it would easily be a 5-star watch at this point.
The Second hand does line up with the indicated lines on the watch,
you end up missing a few seconds out of each minute,
I also noticed the indicators looked a little crooked,
It looked like it was not assembled accurately, as if they rushed it somehow...
But it works well, and its a Solid watch.. but i did not like how unprofessionally calibrated it was.
I had to return it for these reasons, otherwise i would have kept it.
