This short book first had me reacting with two thoughts:
1. This is VERY SHORT
2. The title page isn't very fancy

Then, as I read, I realized - he's right. I immediately started with some negative thinking when I began to read. It's more pervasive than we realize. And the short book makes it clear the best way to alleviate the problem and be much happier and saner. I particularly liked his pet rock analogy - read till you get there. It clearly shows how this works - we can change how we think about things. It's an interesting perspective.

Give it a try. The investment is small and if you follow his advice, you stand to gain a lot.

Short but informative read on the role negative thinking plays in our thoughts and bodies. Gives a new perspective on how to face the negatives and work through them rather than disregard them.

When I first started reading this book, I thought, "great, another expert telling me what to do." The beginning could use more stories and less preach.

However, the book gets better as you go along, and the author does get around to demonstrating with results and stories what he's talking about. He makes a great point.
