I bought both the CD and the book to have the complete piece of art. When you are not used to listening to an audio book, it could take you some time to feel comfortable, but once you let yourself dive into the story, the journey is incredible. The string quartet gives different atmospheres, paces and sounds from the story. There are even some little passages that Neil Gaiman did not write in the book, but added as he recorded the audio book (not much, but still, it makes you feel like you witness Neil at work, changing a few words, adding a sensation, a hesitiation from a character). I enjoyed the story too. I like it when there are clues scattered in the story, and when you finish the book, you think back and uncover their real meaning.
