Présentation de l'éditeur
'The Theory of Infinites - a Theory of Everything' is an expanded treatment of the scientific and philosophic content of the publication 'Beyond the Light Barrier' and attempts to more fully interpret the ideas put forward in the 'Moorgate papers'.
'Beyond the Light Barrier' (ISBN 1 85756 590 8 JANUS PUBLISHING COMPANY) edited by Mary Arouet investigates various questions under two main headings, general philosophy and morality, although the subject matter covered may be described, in every sense of the word, 'universal'.
It has been compiled and edited from miscellaneous papers recovered from the scene of a major disaster. The format of a television documentary has been adopted to best present a whole range of topics covered by these papers. There are reoccurring themes and an attempt to highlight these has been made by sorting the manuscript into a particular sequence. Editorial licence has also been employed to allow a more visual presentation of abstract ideas.
'Through the Light Barrier' is an unusual offering and is considerably more succinct than other works that may cover such profound topics. Because of this it should have appeal to all age groups. Included are tantalising glimpses of a new philosophy, the theory of infinites. This theory is incomplete and only limited detail has survived. The material has been organized, as far as possible, into the classical philosophic format; it looks at the way things are (the natural sciences), the way things should be (ethics), and the way things could be in the future (utopia).
As the theory of infinites is developed, it attempts to answer, in all seriousness, the question, "The ultimate question, the meaning of life, the universe and everything."
The work ends with a vision of the political future.
