This is a great list of 50 things to introduce you to the Paleo diet. I've been eating a modified paleo diet for a year or so, and did learn some new things.

I learned more about the nuances between the paleo and primal diets -- aside from the fact that primal includes dairy whereas paleo does not. I learned that peanuts don't really count in the Paleo diet since they are legumes rather than a nut or seed. A bit confused as it mentioned no diary (inlcuding butter), then later included butter as an ok ingredient. I thought butter was fine for paleo...I learned that carbs are ok on the paleo diet, and since they come from fruits and veggies rather than grains and sugars, it is not 'equal'.

This book has great tips on how to get the foods into your diet (buy a half/whole cow, learn to garden and hunt/fish). I liked the tips about shopping locally (farmer's markets, etc).

Finally, I love the fact that there are bonus paleo dessert recipes to get you started!

If you're already familiar with the paleo diet, this book probably won't be all that helpful -- but if you're just delving into the world of paleo eating... I think this book would be really helpful.

This book is very informative. I did not know you could still eat carbohydrates and be on the Paleo Diet. In fact, I learned quite a bit in this book. She told you what items to use in place of things you normally cook with so you could eat the Paleo diet. She even gives some cost cutting tips for eating this way. I don't know if I will switch to the Paleo Diet but at least I have all of the information I need.
