Immediate releases the third in the Trailerheadtrilogy series of albums. Trailerhead: Triumph is the most robust collection of the three, with over 20 tracks of epic cinematic music that has been featured in many of this century s biggest Hollywood blockbuster film trailers. With the release of the original Trailerhead in 2008, Imperativa Records and artist Immediatelaunched the trailer music genre as a bona fide contemporary music category, with CD sales and downloads far exceeding those of most film soundtracks (sales so far 25.000). Trailerhead: Triumph continues the tradition of featuring modern orchestral and choral compositions blended with contemporary electronics and synthesis. The album was recorded in the finest concert halls and studios worldwide, including the famed Abbey Road Studio in London, and the featured tracks have since been heard by millions of people daily in cinemas and television. Trailerhead: Triumph is produced by Yoav Goren, the award winning composer who this year celebrates 20 years at the helm of ImmediateMusic, the acclaimed Hollywood based music production company. Immediatewas recently honored with the Vanguard Award by the Hollywood Music & Media Awards, in recognition of its success as pioneering producers of trailer music. Yoav Goren has also won an Emmy Award for his compositions as featured in NBC s Olympic Games. Immediate s reputation for the highest quality cinematic music has resulted in over 5.000 placements in film, television, trailers, commercials (including German TELEKOM: Total Liga) and video games. The selections on Trailerhead: Triumph have been featured in high profile worldwide marketing campaigns for dozens of films and products, among them: UEFA 2012 Championship (Closing Ceremony 1st of July 2012 Kiev) Glenfiddich McDonalds Sky Sports Premiere League Championship The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, pts. 1 & 2 Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End Avatar The Chronicles of Narnia Assassin s Creed The Trailerhead: Triumph CD also includes two bonus tracks featuring up and coming remix artist Moniker fusing modern, cutting edge dubstep with Immediate s signature orchestra and choir recordings. Plus a limited folded Poster! (physical only)

Trailer music is a genre of its own and it's now such an amazing presence that in most cases we associate the trailer music with the movie. Trailers themselves are an under-appreciated art form that has to tell a story in 2.5 minutes. There is a certain structure to advertising music, but Immediate somehow makes every track feel fresh. The building climax that suddenly drops and then ends with a huge exclamation point. A lot of people think all trailer music sounds the same, and that couldn't be further from the truth. Immediate's style is not too loud, extremely melodic, bold and intricately detailed. Most trailer music is so loud that you can barely hear anything except the bold points of the melody. Here you can make out each musical element from the trumpets, strings, chorus and percussion. It gives everything an organic feel that loses the processed sound that most other trailer music libraries have. This album is filled with all different sorts of tracks; some bold and some delicate. The music won't bash you over the head for 76 minutes but really work itself over you. It definitely doesn't feel like a musical score, and there was never any intention for it to be. Each track stands on its own giving a burst of emotion that resonates with the listener. If you're someone who loves to edit sequences in your head then you will love this album. It's the perfect album for anybody who does any sort of video editing or has a super visual imagination. It's fuel for the fire.
Triumph is a fantastic third entry in the Trailerhead series. It establishes Immediate Music as a true original that has been around since the early 90's. You are guaranteed to have heard their music in trailers through the course of your life if you went to the movies in the past 19 years. This is an album that celebrates the genre of music we all love. If you're a fan of Extreme Music, Two Steps From Hell, X-Ray Dog, E.S. Posthumous or anything similar then you owe it to yourself to experience Trailerhead: Triumph.
"Triumph" follows in the footsteps of two excellent albums, which you can find here: Trailerhead and Trailerhead: Saga.
Part of the fun of these trailer music albums is that you can recognize the music from some popular movie trailers - for example, Harry Potter fans will notice that Track 20 "The Lords Shale Rule" was used in a trailer for Deathly Hallows Pt 2. If you can identify any other tracks feel free to leave them in the comments section!
My Favorite Tracks:
01 Destiny of the Chosen
03 Tales of the Electric Romeo
20 The Lords Shale Rule
** If you buy the physical CD version, you can get an additional two tracks that are not included on the MP3 album.
Trailer music composers generally don't release all of their music on CD or MP3, and most of their work is privately licensed for use in movie trailer advertising. But from time to time, these artists will release what amounts to a "greatest hits" collection for their faithful fans. "Trailerhead: Triumph" is the fourth such release for The Immediate, and it is a superb offering. This collection of music is at once grand, epic, symphonic, orchestral, classical, uplifting, inspiring and--of course--triumphant. I've found myself listening to "Trailerhead: Triumph" over and over again, both in may car (it makes great driving music) and on my iPod (inspiring to listen to as you gaze out of an airplane window at the grand landscape below). I'm especially fond of "Rex Imperium" and "Rex Imperium Reprise," both of which seem to me to strike a nice balance between epic melody and triumphant bombast.
"Trailerhead: Triumph" enters the market in the company of some superb entries from competing trailer music companies. For fans of the genre, Two Steps from Hell's SkyWorld and Audiomachine's Helios are both worth a close listen. The other two entries in the Trailerhead trilogy are Trailerhead: Saga and Trailerhead, and there is a fourth album Epic Olympic Dreams that was issued last summer just before the London Olympics. "Olympic Dreams" reprises several pieces that are on the original "Trailerhead" and "Trailerhead: Saga," but there is some new material there as well. Some of The Immediate's work is also covered in a rock/pop-hybrid form by Globus, which has some excellent albums of its own: Epicon, Break From This World and Epicon (live version). Finally, for die-hard fans of The Immediate, check out the European CD of "Triumph," which includes two bonus tracks ("Barbarians" and "Salveus") not available on the US MP3 or CD.
One of my favorite artists is Immediate Music. I'm hard-pressed to think of a selection from their three-album collection that I don't enjoy - the music is that good!
My favorite tracks on this offering include Burden of Atlas, How to Control the Dream and Mercurial. The remaining selections are most enjoyable!
By the way - devotees of Immediate may try Globus on for size. Globus uses selections from Immediate and adds vocals to them - in very effective fashion!
This album is MOST STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
