The book spans 160 pages and consists of reprinted road test material compiled from the top auto magazines from across the globe. Everything is reprinted in black and white, with no color other than on the front and rear covers. The paper quality is quite good, and the quality of the reprinted material is excellent in my opinion. This may be due to a shift in printing the newer books in England versus many of Brooklands older titles being done in Hong Kong. Regardless, the book retains good quality in construction for a paperback and the printing and paper is excellent.
There is practically no other source in print on these cars at the time I write this, so much credit has to be given to the Brooklands Books team for having the courage to take on a project on Noble Sports Cars. The Brooklands Book on Noble Sports Cars offers the reader access to a wide array of media coverage from the top auto mags on the entire line up ranging from M10 and M12 GTO, through to the M400, M14, M15, and the current M600. While it's not a thorough and concise history of the brand, it does offer much in historical context as to how the cars from Leicester stacked up against contemporary competition and how those reviewing the cars felt after driving the product.
The five star rating is issued to this book as it's really the only book out there on the topic. I would have liked to see a few pages of color on the inside of the book, as other Brooklands Books have periodically done in the past, but all in all I'm very happy with the book. It's nice to see that practically everything printed in the magazines of the world on Noble Sports Cars is all together and right at your finger tips with this title. I highly recommend it to any sports car buff as a positive addition to their library.
This is a "must buy" book to see what the publication "experts" thought about Pagodas during the era when they were produced.
