Acheté pour un ancien laptop ayant son connecteur Ethernet endommagé. Fonctionne parfaitement, sous Linux, et sans rien devoir installer (pas eu besoin d'installer un quelconque driver, le port Ethernet a été reconnu immédiatement).
À recommander.

J'ai reçu mon adaptateur à la date prévue.
J'ai choisi celui-ci pour plusieurs raisons: sur mon ancien ordinateur portable, la prise RJ45 est cassé donc le câble tient mal et la connexion est devenue exécrable, donc il me fallait un adaptateur pour pouvoir de nouveau avoir une connexion correcte (pas de Wi-Fi là où je suis). De plus, j'ai récemment fait l'acquisition d'un petit ordinateur portable qui n'a pas de prise RJ45, donc l'adaptateur USB me semblait un bon moyen d'avoir internet sur celui-là également, et en plus d'avoir des ports USB 3.0 supplémentaires.

Je suis vraiment très content de cet achat: ma connexion est désormais impeccable (bien mieux que lorsque j'utilise la prise Ethernet de mon vieil ordi), et les trois ports USB marchent très bien. Attention, parfois le périphérique n'est pas reconnu tout de suite lorsqu'on le branche à un des ports de l'adaptateur, mais il m'a suffit de le débrancher puis de le rebrancher. Cependant je n'ai pas constaté de baisse significative de débit de transfert de données en l'utilisant, ce qui arrive parfois avec d'autres produits.
Il en va de même pour mon nouveau petit ordi: je peux désormais avoir internet via câble Ethernet sur celui-ci, pratique lorsqu'il n'y a pas de Wi-Fi et qu'en plus on a un ordi qui n'a pas beaucoup de prises USB (surtout quand on en utilise déjà une pour la souris parce qu'on n'aime pas le pad)! Tout fonctionne très bien.

Avantages non négligeables: la taille de l'adaptateur est impeccable selon moi, et de plus il ne chauffe quasiment pas même en utilisant la RJ45 et les trois ports USB en même temps (du moins ça n'est pas arrivé lorsque je l'ai utilisé hier, et pourtant je l'ai utilisé toute l'après-midi).

Je recommande vivement cet adaptateur aux personnes qui comme moi ont un ordi dont le port RJ45 est cassé ou qui possèdent un petit ordi avec peu de ports USB 3.0 et pas de port RJ45. Le prix est en plus très attractif pour l'usage fréquent que l'on peut en faire et la qualité du produit.

Je l'utilise pour un usage professionnel suite à la casse du port Ethernet RJ45 de mon pc portable.

Il est petit, ne prend pas de place avec sa finition noire brillante. Il accomplit très bien sa mission. De convertir une prise USB en RJ 45. Par contre, sa fonction multi USB n'est pas toujours top. J'ai essayé de brancher un onglet Bluetooth pour ma souris, ça bug parfois ? Un disque externe pour l'instant, pas de problème, mais pour sa première fonction rien à redire.

Directement reconnu sur la box Android TV Xiaomi Mi Box 3S :
- Le RJ45 fonctionne tout de suite sans paramétrage : la connexion est très rapide, merci le Gigabit!
- Les ports USB permettent de lire le contenu de clés USB (vidéo notamment), mais je n'ai pas encore testé avec un disque dur externe

La qualité de fabrication est tout a fait correcte, pas de défaut d'assemblage

Une diode bleue indique le fonctionnement, assez puissante pour être remarquée (ça peut être embêtant dans un salon ou dans une chambre, si c'est à vue)

Nota : parfois, la reconnaissance de la clé galère un peu, mais ça doit être lié à la box (ou un paramétrage à faire dessus)

Petit bémol : c'est un peu cher (bientôt 50% du prix de la box), d'où l'étoile en moins
Mais bon... Ça fonctionne bien, contrairement à d'autres modèles testés

Utilisé pour alimenter une mibox 3 dont le wifi ne permettait pas un débit correct, ce dispositif est immédiatement reconnu et procure un bon débit pour les vidéos en HD. Pour la 4k par contre, je pense que le débit est bridé par le port USB2 de la mibox car les vidéos s'interrompent régulièrement avec kodi.
Les ports usb supplémentaires reconnaissent parfaitement le clavier ipazzport branché dessus. Produit un peu cher mais celui là au moins fonctionne.

I have had uGreen products in the past and have overall been most happy with them.
Depending on your needs this may be perfect as a Gigabit LAN option over USB 3.

Overall, the build quality is average, not particularly solid and no individual USB switches to turn on and off sticks or drives that you might have plugged into it.
You can see in photo 5 the small multi language booklet that comes with it, as well as a mini CD for drivers. No drivers were needed when I tested its LAN capabilities when plugged into my main PC's USB 3 port. Windows 10x64 being the OS.
In photo 4 you can see the transfer speed over the LAN (around 125MB/s is the theoretical max and it typically achieves 108MB/s or so) in the respects of LAN performance over a Gigabit LAN and Windows 10 it is great.
Then I connected it to my Amazon Cube via an adaptor.
A few things to consider .....
USB 1 and 2 max power output is 500mA and USB 3 is 900mA. That is the maximum that can be drawn over these ports, but you will have to see each devices spec to ensure that it complies with that and is not further reduced. As an example our newish Sony TV allows 500mA per port.
Attaching it to our Cube, take a look at photo 1, you will see that it draws around 135mA whilst streaming over the LAN. That is with no USB devices connected to its hub.

Then I attach a 2.5" HD to its hub, see photo 2, and that drive alone will draw up to 450mA or so when in use to stream. That is just from the USB port the drive is connecting to and if it was using the LAN connection at the time then the overall power draw could be more than a USB 2 spec could allow.

I appreciate then that a power port is offered on the device just for situations like I have described above. See photo 3.
But why hasn't that power port been made as a std Micro USB type port, as they are far more common as a std that many of us have with so many devices needing such a 5v supply ....?
It does remind me of the situation we were in prior to phone makers needing to adopt one common std for the charging of them, we needed an individual charger for each device we had...!
It could have been a Micro USB port and that would have been great.

I object to having to buy another 5v power supply, I can't even see one listed.

So for some who need a Gigabit LAN port on their device that is compatible then it is fine, but this device is more than that, it is a USB 3 multi hub as well. Just be wary of what you are plugging into it and using the LAN at the same time without an external power supply.

A pity that uGreen has made this otherwise useful device to use a non std 5v power port. As mentioned previously it would have also been useful to have those three USB ports switchable, if you have a mix of high and lower powered devices connected you could then switch them rather than having to plug and unplug each time.

It might just suit our needs overall but I would suggest that you think about your own needs and be wary that you do not try and draw too much power from your USB port when connected, USB 1 and 2 only able to supply 500mA.

Was a bit sceptical about buying this as read reports it does not work with the Firestick 4K.
The reports are wrong.
I have a Logitech K400 Plus keyboard and a 64GB USB stick plugged in and both are working.
Connected with Ethernet too.
Not using any extra power adapter either (all run from the 4K power adapter)
All works great and very happy with this purchase.

I've been struggling with the dreaded circle of frustration when streaming shows etc. Dedpite gave a genuine 50Mb download speed (usually delivers 35-40) .. with a Firedtick .. I was restricted to wi-fi. Not now! I'm lucky to gave an ethernet connection available so this was the perfect upgrade for me. I bought the 4k Firestick because my original FireTV was feeling a bit "sluggish" .. so all in all.. the whole experience is lightening fast. I also have a 64gb USB stick and bluetooth mini keyboard plugged in. Leaving one USB port spare.
The green unit comes very well packaged ... and clear instructions although I looked it up on YouTube first. Highly recommended but it's a no brainer if you have an ethernet connection available. Yes wi-fi can be just as fast but in my house there are too many competing devices for bandwidth that I prefer to have online. Enjoy!

So, the first unit i received had an issue with the main power USB plug. When it was clicked in all the way to make sure it didn't fall out, the power stopped and the lights went out. If i left it out part way it was fine. That way it works perfectly with my Amazon Fire stick allowing Ethernet connection.
So i contacted them and after much back and forth they finally believed me when i linked them to a YouTube video of it happening.
So they sent another. This one works perfectly well when it comes to that power plug issue and the USB ports work fine (not why i bought it). However, the Ethernet port doesn't work.
Their response this time was that many thousands have been sold and they haven't had two consecutive devices being faulty and that it isn't meant to work with the Fire stick and to buy a different adaptor from them (that isn't gigabit Ethernet which i want). I confirmed that was wrong as their first adaptor works perfectly in this setup and simple can't be plugged in properly so has the risk of falling out.
I really don't know why they say one thing that they know is incorrect after I've confirmed to them it worked that way with the first one they had sent?

Purchased this because my ISP Fibre connection has gone up from 26Mb/s to 500Mb/s. If anyone here doesn't know the previous ethernet adaptors (including official) for hardwiring your Firestick only offer you 100Mb/s, at best depending on internet speed. I own two of them. What you need is one of these that offer you up to 1000Mb/s. Also you will need to purchase an OTG adaptor for £5 so you can change the USB 3 connector to the Micro USB to allow attaching to the Firestick. If you have Fibre over 480Mb/s you may have to look at the USB 3 OTG as the USB 2 ones will limit your speed. Also check your ethernet cable CAT5e will do, nothing below.

All in all worth it, setup is easy and hardwire always wins over Wi-Fi every time for consistency.
