Description du produit
Nathan Drake is back, as gaming's most charismatic hero tries to solve the mystery of Marco Polo's last voyage (and earn himself a fortune in treasure at the same time). The original was one of the first games to really prove the power of the PS3, but this sequel is another huge leap forward. The first game already mixed intense gunplay with precarious platform action, but this adds in new stealth elements and more flexible parkour style climbing controls. Your enemies have been upgraded as well, with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence that makes them just as agile and resourceful as you.Always known for its stunning graphics, this sequel not only looks better but it's now much more dynamic, with fully destructible scenery in every level. Add-in all-new co-operative and competitive multiplayer and you've got one of the most exciting action adventures of the year.

que j'ai trouvé très intéréssante. l'histoire est intéréssante, le seul point négatif est que on s'attend a ce qui va se passer
sinon toujours autant d'actions

The developers, Naughty Dog, have taken everything that was great about Drake's and added to it (melee combat, stealth takedowns etc.) - the few annoying bits with the first one (those tricky vine/rope swings etc.) have been tweaked and the resulting gameplay cannot be faulted.
Like Drake's, the quality of the story and the voice acting is cutting edge. The characters really do spark off each other and the dialogue is smart and sassy.
The graphics too are truly astounding with rain soaked temples, snow capped mountains and torchlit caverns rendered so beautifully you'll just want to sit back and drink it in.
The level design is ingenious without being fiendish. You will make steady progress and there are about 22 long chapters to complete. The only problem you will have is putting it down - the action is so utterly absorbing. With each action sequence every opportunity has been made to up the ante - i.e. you run across a wooden bridge over a chasm and crumbles beneath you leaving you hanging on the bottom rung against the cliff face, but then it begins to fall apart piece by piece as you scramble up it towards the ledge. This is the standard with Among Thieves, everything you interact with suprises you - the detail is gob smacking.
Any negatives? If you die close to a checkpoint, you will resume play from that checkpoint even though you, technically, didn't make it. It's hardly a major problem but it did make me feel a bit cheap from time to time.
This title makes the Drake's series pretty much invincible right now. It's why you bought a PS3. Now, stop reading this and get it.
Everything that people say is good about this game is true: the graphics are unbelievable, the gameplay is great, the dialogue is the most realistic yet, the characters are three dimensional.
The bad things are also true: Camera angles that are sometimes poorly directed and lack of control over them. This is also essentially a shooter game with not too much else going on and the cut scenes are pretty plentiful.
But, as I played it more, the more it grew on me and it's a lot of fun. There are some chapters that are really spectacular and cinematic; take, for example, the chapter 'Convey' where Drake is jumping from one moving truck in flames to another, on a snowy moutain road, whilst simultaneously warding of the bad guys in ensuing trucks.
This is just one example, there are many excellent chapters in this game.
When I finished this, I was a little disappointed that it felt quite short, and I sat there wondering if I'd ever play it again. I was going to leave a 4 star review for this game, because there are improvements that I can see in my mind's eye. That was before I discovered the multi-player online experience. This is where the game takes on a whole new level of fun, especially the 'Deathmatch' option, parted into two teams and into a choice of different settings (for which you vote which location to play in). Since playing the multi-player, I've found myself re-entering the single-player mode again too, and finding that there is more to get out of it than just the first time around.
Yes, there are improvements that can be made. For instance, I'd like to see more adventure and also more stealth hand-to-hand combat. We're given a taste of this near the beginning of the game in a museum, but after that there's not much of that incorporated. Of course, you can use stealth movements in other areas, but I especially liked the necessity in that chapter to be silent and would have liked to have seen more of that in the game.
Improvements aside, trying to find another game to play that is on par with this just illustrates the point that we are being spoiled here. Assassin's Creed 2, for example, absolutely pales in comparison. The characters in that are predictable, static, and not very realistic.
Naughty Dog have set the bar high with this one. This is the game that others of the future will look to in order to improve the storylines and believable characters. It's only right that games these days should use quality voice-actors, and with the PS3's powerful gaming experience, this is needed to accompany the stunning visuals. The problem now is what game do I get next now I've seen one of the very best.
This game defines what this generation should be about. A realistic fun heart-pounding experience with impressive technology and brilliant online multiplayer. It really is a game that sets the bar for other games to aim for.
What impresses most has to be just the incredible amount of detail in this beautiful game. No matter where you or or what you look at it will amaze you the amount of detail that is in the environments and on the characters. Not only the detail but the scale of the gaming world and and how beautiful and realistic it is to look at. Whether you're in a building, a temple, a jungle or the war-torn streets of Nepal, you're in awe at just how real the world is and incredibly fun it is to play in.
The cinematics are pretty much movie quality with Nathan, Sully, Elena and a whole new array of characters, good and bad, all coming to life and making you feel like you're going along with them for the adventure. The characters are cool, gorgeous, genuinely funny, diverse, interesting and the best in a game yet. For me personally, Chloe Frazier has to be one of the best female characters created in a video game, I love her. And I also really liked Flynn.
The single player will just blow you away, there's no doubt about that but then the multiplayer which is my favourite multiplayer to date, just because it has so much variety and takes what FPS games do so successfully and makes it work with a third person game, adding a whole new level of gameplay mechanics, will impress you very much also. There's so much replay value in the single player and multiplayer and a TON of unlockable features that you will just keep playing this game non stop.
Incredible value for money, so much fun it hurts, gorgeous in every single way. Just incredible. 10/10 for everything. Buy this game now.
Uncharted 2 takes this to a whole new level. It would be fair to say this is more like an interactive movie than a console game, but will full control, amazing set pieces and some of the most spectacular moments in gaming history crammed into around 10 hours of single player game time. 10 hours?! I hear you grumble. Fear not, there's a multiplayer aspect added to this game (which is very impressive) but the single player game is such a joy that you will play through more than once.
Without giving too much away, Drake is framed by his colleagues while performing a heist for an artifact. When he's bailed out by his old friend Sully things really kick off. What follows is a barrage of action, platforming, scary jumps, collapsing buildings and angry helicopters while you lead Drake to find out what's going on.
Several key moments stand out but you really must experience them to give them full credit. Despite the 10 hour game time you can really stretch the game out if you fully explore your environments and look for hidden trasures, also the game feels much longer when you think of all the action you've gone through and the history of the story as it progresses. Halfway through you get the option to slow down the pace and relax a little in a gorgeous mountain top village before trudging out into the snow for more discovery.
I really can't recommend this game enough, it's very polished, the sound is great, the graphics use the full potential of the Playstation 3 and really do leave you staring at the details.
In terms of negatives, I experienced a slight niggle trying to duck behind some scenery during a gunfight, apart from that I can't think of anything else. In fact just writing this wants me to play again. Don't feel the multiplayer is tacked on either, it already has a huge amount of followers and great level up scheme with the opportunity to purchase new skills and skins for your player.
Seriously if you have a a PS3, buy it.
Key word in that sentence is 'was'. THIS game is the new reason.
Uncharted 2 is a sublime, 100% completely flawless rollercoaster of pure gaming perfection. Addictive combat and easily the best graphics of any game on PS3, fanboy-box 360 or the PC (oh yes), its the story and characters that make this game.
Some games take a game and build a story around it, whilst the genious team at Naughty Dog and Sony took a story and created a game. This game feels like a blockbuster movie. Everything from the motion capture to the perfect scripting with honest emotion and witty banter that has you constantly smirking or laughing out loud, to the fact that you cant stop watching every scene, it all just feels like youre watching a film but youre controlling everything between the cutscenes. Its completely, undescribably engrossing from start to finish.
Nathan Drake, voiced by the legendary Nolan North, seriously deserves to be a) the best gaming character ever, and b) the first male character gamers will have a secret crush on. Nathan Drake was motion captured by Nolan North for this and the previous game, so basically youre watching and playing Nolan North, who has some of best comical timing youll ever see.
This game makes big films in the cinemas look like they were made in a shed by amateurs.
Get a PS3. Get this game. Vote it as Game Of The Year. Lose yourself in it.
Gamepay is really excellent, the controls for the majority of the time are spot on. The game can be hard in places with lots of enemies taking shots at you, in the later stages the enemies get even tougher as well. I found the game to be quiet difficult in places as it seems that you always have to go the long way/ difficult way to get to where you want, but then occasionally you don't have to. It happened so rarely than when it did I was stuck for ages. lol.
Graphics are really quiet good, The graphics are unfortunately not up to pc gaming standards but then the ps3 equipment is relatively old. From what people have said this is some of the best graphics for the ps3 and I certainly have not seen any better.
Voices and voice acting are excellent. Not much to say really about the music, it doesn't intrude, but it didn't really stand out either tbh.
The story is interesting always leading you forward. The characters are excellent, the side comments, humour, slagging and flirting between them all build up to fully developed characters. This is one of few games that are special, where you actually care about the characters.
This is something I haven't played much of yet. It is very different from the actual game, but not in a bad way. I have enjoyed playing online despite not really liking the ps3 online experience tbh (see my ps3 review for more info). The only reason I stopped playing online atm is so that I could start Assassins' Creed 2. I will get back to it.
Overall, this game is definitely worth buying, the best I've played on the ps3 by a long way. The game really is a platform game in essence but a platform game with lots of shooting, loads of character, brilliant npc's and a great script.
As I write this, the game is at £25 or so (half price!!) so do yourself a favour and pick it up.
One other thing, this game has Claudia Black's voice. Not wishing to reveal the utter depth of my crush on her, I will just say that this alone is reason to by the game. :)
I knew it was good when I won a medal for 50 headshots and invited my wife to comment. She said don't ever let our child see you playing this game. To my mind, another thumbs up.
Seriously, the other elements are done well, but adding all these things together is quite rare in game. When I logged on to check out the multiplayer I was again totally stunned. Sure, I have COD modern wassaname 2 which I haven't made any inroads into yet, but I haven't felt the need to with this baby.
My only gripe about the multiplayer is that quitting a multiplayer game results in a severe skill level penalty, yet playing a 5 v 5 game with two immobile (obviously not at their console) teammates is frustrating and just prompted me pop off for a cuppa, too, probably annoying my teammates even more!! I would have thought something could be done to balance this?
This really is like getting two games for the price of one, the single player as a warm up for getting to know the control system and then the multiplayer, which for me was a unexpected bonus. I do have to turn the microphones off though, because there's only so much gloating you can take after being shot 20 times by a gang of twelve year olds (sadly, a third of my age!)
Uncharted was brilliant technically, but had some stupid gameplay elements. Uncharted 2 truly fixes almost everything that was wrong in Uncharted 2. No more stupid melee combat, NO gimmicky SixAxis motion controls that don't work, no more endless waves of enemies and so forth.
The graphics are the best in any console game, Killzone 2 might be pretty close on a technical level, but Uncharted is from another planet in terms of art direction.
The only flaws are some control issues, because grapping ledges is so heavily scripted that it doesn't always work and stealth controls that should work better. The final boss fight is clearly the worst part of the game with a stealth section a close second.
I found some of the action sequences to be a bit trial and error, like multiple attempts to find the correct route along a crumbling walkway. There is one particular sequence where I was trying to destroy a helicopter only to find out after using up all my ammo that you can only run away from it. There are other sequences that requires you to follow a similarly prescribe routine, but this is a small complain.
I enjoyed this game so much that I went and bought the first game for the back story. I think Naughty Dogs learnt a lot from feedbacks on their first game which is not in the same league as this highly enjoyable second Uncharted.
The story was brilliant, loads of unexpected plot twists.
Characters were just as good, very easy to like, a lot of spike humour here and there that made me giggle a few times..
Gameplay was phenomenal, I loved it to bits. The addition of stealth made it far more strategical, you could take an opportunity with a gathered group and blow them to pieces and wittle down the rest, or sneak round, picking them off, one by one, without every being noticed (the satisfaction from that is great).
Graphics, second to none.
Something else I have to comment on is the camera angles and effects, as stupid as it may sound, they were pretty effective, the very first chapter is a perfect demonstration of it, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Can't really describe it.
I'd recommend playing the first game before this one, you'd appreciate the characters much more. This really is a must-play. Really really must-play.
The storyline is gripping from start to end,and it is told by cutscenes which will blow you away, and are actually nearly the same as in game graphics. Usually cutsecene graphics are miles better. As said the in game graphics are great, especially the water and snow, which is in my opinion the best i have seen on a game, as you get wet and icy. The jungle, streets and moutains are fantasic and life like.
From the first uncharted the gameplay has improved. Hand to hand combat is clearner and smoother, also the climbing has improved dramatically and it makes the game fast flowing.
The online is very good. The graphics and gameplay do not change. You can unlock all skins and perks and the online is very fun. howver, sometimes it takes ages to find a game. machima (is that spelt right) mode is worth checking out. Also the coop is extremly fun to play.
Overall, the game is fantastic. It has the best graphics, free flowing gameplay, a very good storyline, and good online (could be improved). Its brilliant how its only exclusive to the ps3 (its a game to brag about to xbox owners). Full marks.
