/A Week in the Life/ uses straightforward, real-life examples and easy-to-read, simplified language to lend practical accessibility to such exhaustively detailed and sometimes intimidating uber-reference tomes of institutional record as the Project Management Institute's (PMI) /Project Management Body of Knowledge/ (PMBOK). If ever suddenly charged with unfamiliar project leadership responsibilities or if just a little rusty on the how-to's, this is the lifeline for you. Rodgers and Williams really turn the abstract into the concrete with this predicted classic.

I carried the hard copy with me and used it as a reference so long it became pretty dog-eared. I’m glad they are putting out an eBook. The authors wrote a book that is very easy to relate to and understand. Once you understand what project management means then you realize that almost EVERYTHING is a project. This book shows you how to handle that in an organized and efficient manner as well as how to keep management informed, be heard by them to help resolve issues that arise, and ensure they receive the end result they expected.

This is a very easy-to-read, practical reference that can be used in any level of project management. It concentrates on substance and giving "no-nonsense" guidance for executing end-to-end project management with a degree of confidence. The tools are great references, and the book provides affirmation that one is on the right path or gives advice for course correction, if needed.
