Présentation de l'éditeur
Marty Peters is a young professional working as junior tax accountant for Staner, Warsaw and Bentley, a high power accounting firm in New York City. Marty hates her job of number crunching and secretly longs to pack it all in and follow her dreams of Hollywood fame and fortune. When both of those worlds combine through a series of comical misunderstandings and one missing screenplay, Marty finds herself as one of the accountants at Staner chosen to fly out to Los Angeles to attend the Academy Awards. Taking credit for "Until Tomorrow", a screenplay that does not belong to her, and falling in love with the handsome Egan Riley, the writer behind Until Tomorrow and the only person who stands in her way of living the life of paparazzi and movie premieres, Marty finds that she must make a choice between love or her fifteen minutes of fame on the red carpet.

You too can win!

I loved this book! I am always thrilled to find a case when a young person overcomes odds and makes things happen. This story satisfied that part of my thinking. I did like the author's careful development of the lead character giving her talent and energy but showing the reader how difficult she found utilizing her abilities to their fullest extent. The characters inserted into the plot to expose our heroine's ups and downs were interesting, humorous, and oh-so-believable! The believability did not have to be suspended: it was all too real. I truly enjoyed this reading and look forward for more from this author.
Fun, light, page turner

When this book started I thought Erin Brady might have been writing my memoir:) It was, like always with this author, a very entertaining fun read. Had me laughing throughout and I loved Marty. The descriptions her parents gave her at the beginning had me routing for her character right away :) The word can't, and people placing doubt, always makes me work harder. I think that's why I could relate to her so much, as so many had doubts in her ever making her dream. I liked that it was written in a style I hadn't seen before with time bouncing back and forth, but I do have to say it was a bit distracting and at times took away from the storyline. Overall though I enjoyed the novel, and this author is one that I seriously enjoy reading. It's perfect when I need something light and funny, which is almost always :)

My secret escape

I love all the books this writer writes. Her characters are so quirky but yet realistic & fun. Once I start reading her books I can't stop because I'm anxious about what is going to happen next. They are my escape books where I can relax and enjoy just good storytelling. I just hope she keeps on writing because I only have one book left of this author that I have not read.
What a trip...

This story had a unique structure that could have been choppy but the transitions are smooth as the various pieces come together. Actually kept on reading to see if the author, as well as the protagonist could pull off a cohesive finale---it works! Am going back to read it again. Really enjoyed Marty'relationship with her Mom &the laugh out loud bits also.
