Revue de presse

“As I progressed through the ranks of the European Tour toward a major championship, Bob Rotella was by my side every step of the way. With Your 15th Club, you can benefit from the same good advice he gave me. This is the one Rotella book I may not recommend to my fellow competitors. It might be too helpful.” — Padraig Harrington, 2007 British Open champion
“After my fist few events as a professional in 1999, I realized I needed to find a way to quiet my mind and focus my thoughts. Since then, Dr. Rotella and I have focused on target, routine and acceptance. Thought I have no yet perfected it, I continue to work on it daily and have reached a career high 12th on the official world golf ranking.” –Trevor Immelman, 2006 PGA Rookie of the Year
“Golfers ask all the time how to play better golf. Your 15th Club is the ANSWER to mastering the game. That doesn’t mean that it is easy to do, but if you practice what Dr Rotella suggests in this book there is no doubt you will become a better player. It is a must read for anyone trying to improve.”—Brad Faxon, 8 time PGA Tour champion
"Any player, whether a pro or just someone who plays once a week in the Sunday Swindle, should get something out of this. It's such easy reading it feels like you are on the couch next to Dr Bob himself!" - Keith Steele, Golf Monthly
"As the title implies, it is something you might want to keep close to your golf bag at all time. It extends many of his ideas and details a self-help process for a commitment to a mental discipline in golf." - David Miller, Golf Monthly
" ' What separates [Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods] from the competition, I believe, is their confidence.' And it is this that Rotella sets out to teach in this book, drawing on the work he has done with Padraig Harrington over the years and giving a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the Irishman's mental preparations on his way to victory at Carnoustie last year." - The Times, July 2008

Présentation de l'éditeur

Dr Bob Rotella, author of half a dozen bestselling books on golf, including Golf is Not a Game of Perfect, brings together his skills and years of experience as a golf psychologist to give readers the insight they need to improve their game -- before they ever step up to the tee. At some point in playing the sport, whether they're competing on the professional tour or enjoying a day with their foursome on any public course, every golfer hits a snag in their mental game. Dr Bob shows readers how to emulate Tiger, become more comfortable with their own inner arrogance, how to learn from better golfers, and overcome fear. He teaches readers easy ways to talk themselves into feeling confident and provides a detailed plan that anyone at any level can use to build self-esteem both on and off the course.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Another great book from Bob Rotella 26 mai 2009
Par Stephen J. Powers - Publié sur Amazon.com

Before reading `Your 15th Club' I thought `Golf is not a game of perfect' was the best golf book I have read. Now Bob Rotella has matched that and taken it to the next level. I've read the previous reviews and some don't seem to agree with my opinion. I don't think they grasp what Rotella is saying about the importance of self confidence. But more than explaining the importance of self confidence Rotella explains how to build and maintain self confidence. Some of the things in this book I had stumbled upon and was all ready doing and some I have learned from this book's marvelous way of conveying Bob Rotella's thoughts. The thoughts and ideas in this book can help anyone improve their golf game.

I'm the duffer's duffer, and yet Dr. Bob has opened up a set of tools that I believe will help me to enjoy the game more and to give myself more opportunities to hit well. His helps address directly my tendency to talk harshly to myself about missed shots. I'm anxious for the weather to improve so I can get out there and try on my "new self."

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Maybe the best mental golf book ever 4 février 2009
Par P. Flanagan - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié Achat vérifié
Without a doubt this book is head and shoulders above the rest. This information goes deeper than his first three books. I loved it and can't wait to use its lessons on the course. Every golfer should read it. And don't worry about jargon and such. It is very readable and makes common sense out of our inner demons. Thank you Dr. Rotella, I think I am starting to get it.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Excellent instruction, hard work 22 mars 2009
Par Robert Martin - Publié sur Amazon.com

This book is an excellent review of how to build confidence, change mental attitudes, and play a better, more enjoyable mental game, but it takes a lot of hard work. Buy this one is you have negative opinions and attitudes about your game, or want to shave ten strokes off your handicap, but be prepared to have to work at it, not just read the book.
