    Als langjähriger Besitzer von Sennheiser IE80 (altes Modell, 2014 gekauft) war ich auf der Suche nach hochwertigem Klang für den privaten Musikkonsum, sowie den Gebrauch für inEar-Monitoring als E-Gitarrist auf der Bühne. Die IE80 waren damals mein Einstieg in die höherpreisige InEar-Welt und ich habe etwa 250€ für sie gezahlt. Ich war von Anfang an von der Soundqualität begeistert und habe die IE80 über die Jahre schätzen gelernt.

    Die "China-Inears" haben sich ja die letzten Jahre weit verbreitet auf dem Markt und ich hatte Lust auf etwas Neues. Prompt hab ich mir die KZ ZSX vor kurzem bestellt. Nur 50€ Kaufpreis und sie sollen mit vielen anderen etablierten Kopfhörern mithalten können, die mehrere hundert Euro kosten? Das wollte ich selbst ausprobieren.

    Ich hätte es nicht für möglich gehalten, aber die 50€ KZ KSX stecken meine alten IE80 in die Tasche, in allen Belangen. Meine 250€ Sennheiser Kopfhörer klingen im Vergleich langweilig. Bei normalem Musikgenuss merke ich vor allem den höheren Detailgrad in den Mitten und die satteren, tieferen und akzentuierteren Bässe. Doch erst wenn ich hochwertige Filmmusik anhöre merke ich den deutlichen Klassenunterschied. Das ist überhaupt kein Vergleich. Wahnsinns tiefe, satte Bässe. Mitten werden nicht zugematscht oder verschluckt und kommen in einer Deutlichkeit heraus, die ich von meinen alten InEars nicht kannte. "Summit" von Hannah Parrott ist ein komplett anderes Sounderlebnis. Im direkten Vergleich könnte man fast meinen, meine teuren IE80 wären günstige Discounter-InEars. Das ist vielleicht ein bisschen überspitzt, aber die Aufnahme klingt auf den IE80 einfach total "flach" im Vergleich.

    Zugegeben, ich habe nicht die meiste Ahnung von Frequenzkurven und co, lege aber hohen Wert auf Klangqualität und achte auf Details beim Musikhören. Mit dieser Erfahrung kann ich nur jedem raten, den preiswerten China-InEars eine Chance zu geben, der noch an seinen alten Marken InEars festhält. Es ist toll, was man mittlerweile fürs kleine Geld bekommt.

    Hands down, unbelievable quality for the price. As an owner of Campfire Andromeda and former owner of Sennheiser ie800, I never expected to be super impressed by a pair that cost a mere fraction of my prized iems. Fit and comfort are also worthy of note. The bass is the first thing that grabs you but it isn't overwhelming or off putting. Just more present than neutral. As other reviewers have said, the stock cables get tangled very easily.
    Bottom line is sound quality wise, they easily compete with iems 5 or 6 times their price. Allowing you to replace the cable with your own custom cable is just extra icing on the already delicious cake.

    Was Preis-Leistung angeht ist dieser IEM sehr gut, und klingt vom Sound besser/natürlicher als viele Kopfhörer im Preissegment bis 80€. Was man bedenken muss, das sind Monitors: Ihr Sinn ist es nicht einen Bassreichen, sondern neutralen Sound zu vermitteln.
    Die Verpackung ist ansprechend gestaltet und beinhaltet alles wichtige. Das mitgelieferte ist etwas Steif und die Gummi Tips sind etwas fummelig zum Anbringen. Hier empfehle ich sowieso die Memoryfoam aufsätze für besseren Halt und Tonerlebnis anzuschaffen. Das Produkt an sich wirkt gut verarbeitet mit einigen scharfen Kanten, die jedoch nicht in der Nähe des Ohrs sind. Das Design an sich wirkt im großen und ganzen auch sehr ansprechend.

    Für Bahnfahrten, Fitnessstudio und ähnliche Aktivitäten suchte ich IEMs mit neutralem Klang. Die Multi-BA/Hybrid-IEMs von Knowledge Zenith sind da eine gute Wahl. Sie bieten einen nicht übertrieben teuren Einstieg in den Bereich hochklassiger Ohrhörer, allerdings um den Preis kleinerer Schwächen.
    Die IEMs kommen in einer hübschen kleinen Schachtel mit Schaumeinsatz und Stauraum für das Kabel und die Buds. Ein Transportbeutel o.ä. ist nicht dabei.
    Eine klare Stärke der Ohrhörer ist der ausgewogene, natürliche Klang. Ich höre meist akustisch aufgenommen Jazz (also eher weniger elektronische/elektrische Instrumente) und das geht mit den ZSX sehr gut. Auch die Verarbeitung gefällt mir, Fehler kann ich mit bloßem Auge nicht erkennen.
    Schwächen erlaubt sich KZ ganz klar beim Zubehör. Die mitgelieferten Buds sind indiskutabel und das Kabel imho knapp an unbrauchbar. Hier lässt sich mit dem ebenfalls von KZ angeboten Bluetooth-Kabel (Stecker Typ C) Abhilfe schaffen, auch wenn der ZSX nicht als kompatibel gelistet ist.
    Der Tragekomfort ist ok, ich suche noch die geeigneten Buds für festen Sitz und Seal. Mit Zusatzausgaben von etwa 40,- € erhält man dann einen sehr guten In-Ear zum immer noch günstigen Preis.
